2 weeks after the news....

Monday Night Raw had come to the Little Caesar's Arena in Detroit, Michigan for its weekly taping. For Cassie McIntosh-Butler, she was locked into a feud with the leader of the now disbanded Riott Squad, Ruby Riott. On last week's edition, Cassie's alter-ego Peyton Royce had come back as part of Ruby's open challenge only to discover it was a trap to return her back to her villainous ways. After getting this week's script on continuing the feud, she discovered she would be in a mixed tag-team match with her and the leader of the Undisputed ERA, the current Intercontinental Champion Adam Cole, which would prompt the return of Cassie's husband Trevion who had been scheduled to make his in-ring return from injury. Right now she had been talking with her sister Lauren who had the pleasure of baby-sitting of Sky and Star back at the hotel given she came on the road with the couple.

Cassie: Have my angels given you any trouble Lauren?

Lauren: Actually, they've been anything but that. And Joey has been an excellent assistant, he actually put them to bed so you and Trevion can have all the movie time you want when you get back from the ass-kicking you have to deliver tonight.

Cassie: Again thank you so much for even taking the time to watch them.

Lauren: Don't even Cass, it's what family does for one another; Now go, you got a match to win I believe.

Cassie: Alright big sister I have to go, love you bye.

Lauren: Love you too Cassie Ciao!

As they both disconnected the call, Trevion came up from behind and twirled Cassie like they were a couple of ice-skaters.

Cassie: Whoa, easy there cowboy!

Trevion: What I can't surprise my loving wife from time to time?

Cassie: Let's not get ahead ourselves babe, I do appreciate a good surprise here and there. Just not the ones that catch me off guard.

Trevion: Noted, but are you ready for tonight?

Cassie: I sure am; we're one step closer to Extreme Rules and to determine who's facing Mickie James and Ember Moon for the Raw Women's Championship next month at Summerslam.

Trevion: That's awesome babe... One step closer to joining Ashley and Alexis as the only women to hold both the SmackDown and Raw's Women's title I can see it now.

Cassie: Okay enough about me, what about you? Aren't you supposed to be in title contention right now.

Trevion: Yeah I'm helping you this one-time tag team match with Austin and Dori before I feud with Jeffery(Elias) for number one contender status for the Universal Championship. Essentially they're building us up as the premiere babyface couple on Monday Night Raw. You know what they're basically doing to Rusev and Lana over on SmackDown Live.

Cassie: Just a more Iconic version.

Trevion: Exactly, now you're catching on. I got to go get my gear, I'll see you later.

Trevion kisses her on the cheek and leaves.
