Living with body dismorphic disorder
Body dismorphic disorder they say
But how is that different from self hate anyway?
One minute you love yourself
The next minute its hate
Am I being punished?
I often say,
How does one hate their body this much?
It causes so much pain
Constantly finding what’s wrong and never seeing what’s right
I hope this feeling leaves soon
I hope it leaves tonight
Because right now
I’m at the point of taking my life.
