~Chen Linong's POV~
*3 years later*
As time goes by, my feelings for him slowly appeared and so was Xukun's. Like we're real lovers, he always gave me good morning pecks on the cheek everytime i wake up, always spending our time in the backyard, more like a date. It really feels like i truly love him, and i know he felt the same too.
"Nongnong, will you go out with me tonight? It's really boring here." He hugged me at the back and gave me sweet pecks, "Sure."
He's really sweet and cuddly, i want to stay with him forever but i was engaged to someone else and it was my parents' decision, he was a prince on their place, but i didn't loved him. I don't want to tell Xukun but i have to, so that he will never be hurt when i go back.
"I'm sorry for telling you this late."
*time skips*
*at the park*
I was walking with Xukun while holding his hand, it's really awkward but we're lovers, true lovers now. "Nongnong?"
"Hmm?"
"Looks like something's bothering you, wanna talk about it?"
"It's nothing! I'm okay." I lied, i was having a huge problem of how will i tell this to Xukun, he tightend his grip on my hand and smiled, "I love you."
I can't believe what he just said....
"Hey, i said 'i love you'."
"Oh! Yeah, sorry, i love you too Xukun." But Xukun's eyes went serious like he's mad at me or something. "Something's bothering you, why can't you just tell me. You can trust me, i'm your boyfriend right?"
"I-i'll tell you when we get home okay?"
*at the dorm*
Xukun was still holding my hand tightly, smiling everytime he looks at me, i think it's the time to tell him everything. "Xukun?"
"Yes Nongnong?"
"I-i'm going back tomorrow." I thought that he would let go of my hand, but he tightend his grip. "I thought you will stay with me forever."
"I'm sorry." I looked down, facing the floor. "If you'll go back there, we're not be able to meet again! Nongnong, please tell your parents to stay here."
"I can't, i'm sorry."
"Why?" I stayed silent, making my nervousness come up. "B-because i-i'm getting married to Kaihao." He loosend his grip on my hand, i tried to catch it but he won't let me hold his hand again. "H-how long?!"
"I was engaged since i was sixteen." I tried to hold back my tears, "Why didn't you told me before i loved you?! Why didn't you told me before i became a fool to you?! You know what Linong? You just left me hanging! YOU JUST LEFT ME HANGING!"
"I'm sorry." He glared at me, "I wish 'sorry' can fix everything." Before he completely closed the door, he looked at me for the last time. "I thought that i was the one who was making this love as a joke before, but i was wrong." And then he completely closed the door, i was crying so hard and leaned on his door.
"I'm sorry."
"I love you, and i always will. I know it's hard to accept but i'm really sorry, i know 'sorry' was just a word but i gave you my heart when i said that, i gave too much effort. I will wait here for you outside your room until you forgive me at least a little."
