"You can let me go now!"
Jennie threw a suspicious glare before tightening her grip on Yoongi's wrist. Little did she know she wasn't hurting him at all.
Jennie then turned around and continued walking through the crowded city with a pissed Yoongi behind her. "Taxi!" She waved her free hand at a taxi driving by, which immediately stopped.
"Drop us off at xxxx (adress), please." Jennie demanded the taxi driver once they stepped in. "Sure thing, sweetie." A low voice was heard. She rolled her eyes. "Please, I'm in a hurry."
"Anytime, anywhere. Just say the word." The smirking taxi driver said before winking. Jennie and Yoongi both looked at the man with a disgusted expression.
"I can punch that disgusting smirk off your face 'anytime, anywhere' if you don't hurry the fuck up!"

"Thank you so much, I really appreciate it, man." I responded to the restaurant owner whom I work for.
I have a love-hate relationship with compliments. They make me feel good, but awkward at the same time. It's confusing.
I was sitting at the bar, my arm leaning against the wooden surface. There was an afterparty going on, to celebrate how good this evening went. I'm not a big fan of parties, but I still attended. They were doing this mostly because of me, after all.
"No but seriously, I mean it," he kept going, "Our guests never reacted to a performance the way they did today. They literally dropped their forks and stopped eating, haha"
I couldn't help but laugh along with my boss and friend, J-Hope. I remember when he told me to call him that nickname the day we first met, two years ago.
Putting the towel around my neck, I sat on a wooden bench, resting after the extensive workout.
Just then I noticed another man sitting on the bench, opening his water bottle.
"Hey, I see you a lot around here, what's your name actually?"
"It's Jimin, what about you?"
"Nice to meet you Jimin, I'm Jung Hoseok." he took a sip out of his water bottle.
"But you can just call me J-Hope, people always call me that."
"Sure, J-Hope. Why do they you call you that actually?"
"I'm your hope, I'm your angelll, I'm J-HOOOOOPE!"
He shouted before flashing a wide grin that could brighten up anyone's day.
Anyways, J-Hope recently told me he started up this place, and that he needed some new workers. Working with him sounded great, plus I needed the money. So here we are now.
"To our new, talented worker: the one and only Park Jiminnn!"
J-Hope is bright, a ray of sunshine.
He never fails to make me, or others smile. I admire that about him."Cheers!", everyone shouted before raising their glass.
J-Hope drank another sip of his beer before facing me again. "I know today's not your monthly paycheck, but here."
He handed me an envelope while grinning. "You deserve it, especially after today." I looked at the white envelope with '100.000 won' written on it, and then back at him, and then back at the envelope.
"Its not that much, but I hope I can still make you happ-"
I cut off his sentence by giving him a hug. "Thank you.." I whispered while slapping his back twice. "Don't mention it", he chuckled. I smiled.
I even forgot how much I hate hugs.

After the party was finished, and we all said our goodbyes, I walked towards my car. It's a crappy second-handed Ford Fiesta, which I bought a few years ago, with the money I saved up.
I stepped in, and closed the car door. Instead of doing what I'm supposed to do, I just sat in the driver's seat for a moment, enjoying the silence.
Suddenly, the mysterious man's face popped up in my head out of nowhere.
He made me feel things, even though we've never spoken to each other. Even though I've never even heard his voice. But god do I want to..
"Why are you even thinking about that man? You're probably never going to meet him, and even if you magically do, you'll never be able to talk to him. Get over yourself you piece of-"
I'm talking to myself again.
