It was another shiny day in New york. Right on street of Flatbush avenue. I sat in the IHOP. Listening to the calming noises of people being inconsiderate. The news constantly reporting some random deaths that most of new York would never even remember. Yea great life in New York isn't it? There's no other place I'd be. I sat there sipping on my morning tea. A few people stared at me whispering things about me but I just ignored those people and never put a second thought of them. I than looked at my reflection. Of course it was always messy, unkept despite how hard I tried to make it look like something. My cloths were somewhat decent. At least I'm not a bum in Boston eating random junk. Yep this definitely is my home.
Now most stories are boring at the beginning and yep you're right so let's just fast forward to the few hours before I die shall we?
I went to work at an old coffee shop. I had a few friends there but none I could call close. My name tag flashing "Will" on it. Of course last names never matter to important people. They wouldn't care for will hopt. I chidded myself. I than look up at the next customer and smiled to show at least some friendliness. "May I take your order?" I asked the girl. She didn't smile but she took a few more moments to look at the menu. I looked at her and noticed that she had a weird tattoo. I shrugged it off and looked back into her eyes. They were off color. Like you see blue, black, and green or even brown but this was red. I didn't want to say anything to upset her so I kept silent. "Yes just some water please, I traveled a bit far, will " she smiled at me. I chuckled a bit than fetched her water.
Night fell and the shop closed. I had to go accros the holy cross graveyard. I always hated it. It never really struck anything to me and never will for me. That's what I thought until now. I was near the gate and "hey Will! It's so good to see you at this time!"
Now seeing one random stranger in your coffee shop is one thing but seeing her next to a grave yard is just spells out killer!
"Oh hey you're that really strange girl who's name I still haven't even heard of" she brushed off my little remark and sighed "Oh Will you know it's not a good idea to leave a girl in such place like this let's go somewhere safe."
Now I know this is just a trap but I couldn't escape. Litteraly her grip was like a gorrilas. She could break my wrist if she wanted to. I than just follow her down random streets. Eventually we reached our destination. "It's 11 pm in a dark alley, I ever felt more safe in my life. Is there anything else here that'll give us out protection or am I just about to get mugged?"
The girl smiled and giggled. "Oh so you know I wasn't here for hospitality, not all of you are as dumb as an dog."
I tried pulling back but nothing worked. I should have ran for it while I had the chance. Things were going downhill fast. "Will, don't worry it'll be as painless as a needle going through your arm. It'll be like having a small kiss on the neck but only slightly more painful but I promise this will be quick."
I kept on struggling trying to free myself but this was the end of the line. She was going to stab me. I knew I should have done something about this crazy person.
"Aw hell no I plan to live anothe-" that's when I felt a hard punch to the gut. It felt like a cannon ball right in the stomach
"Don't worry little mouse. You will do just fine"
With those words I passed out. I felt a sting as I lost who I was. I was gone.
