heartbroken.

you liked me

i liked you

first kiss,

sparks flew.

our friendship faded

we both knew.

but you liked me

and i certainly liked you.

one word spoken from the heart

by you,

were twisted into poisonous thorn like-words

if only i had knew.

words were spoken by outsiders on the streets

that you didn't like me

it hurt because i believed it to be true.

you ran away like a scared, little boy

 one i never knew

i was sad because i really liked you.

you were everything

you were the world.

yet i was just a girl

who had fallen deep for you.

flashforward to now,

you've recovered somehow

with another girl.

who seems to be your new world.

if only you had knew,

when you left,

I was so blue and

i'll never forget you.
