Chapter Eight

Readers P.O.V

I had been sleeping and the worst dream I had in a long time scared me. I was dreaming that I was holding a knife with blood all over me with slaughtered bodies around me. I was yelling out for Dean and Sam them not knowing I was sleep talking, but screaming for them. When they both busted into the room that had woke me up. I had tears going down my face. Dean took me into his arms quickly and Sam pulled up a chair next to the bed. I asked them if they could leave the room, Sam saying he would go make lunch with Dean trying to stay. I asked him if he would leave again but he said no. The Mark was getting aggravated so I had begun to get aggressive with him. But after asking again in an angry voice he finally left. After he left I got up, taking a quick shower to start my day, getting dressed in my favorite flannel hoodie, black shirt, skinny jeans and converse. With the rings Dean got me and a hat Sam got me. 

After I got ready for the day I went to the library and got on my computer to watch the Three Stooges. Dean joined me with Sam bringing us both grilled cheese. Castiel called us and asked us if we would join him to help find Claire. Sam left to go look into the group homes for her, while Cas, Dean and I eat lunch. Cas was telling us about how he has been disappointed in himself for hurting people. After that conversation Dean got up to go to the bathroom, while he was gone I told Castiel that I need him to kill me if I ever become a demon again. We found where Claire was and went to the Gas-n-Sip she was about to rob. When Cas stopped her and made her walk out she confronted us angrily at Cas for killing her dad and at us for letting it happen. Before she left she told us that Randy and Dustin were he only family. After she left all of us went to a bar, Sam telling the angel not to worry about what she said. Our angel friend asked about the brothers father and my father and if they were a good dad. The older brother told a story about how when their dad and Dean was in New York the boy snuck out to a club and was found by John. Saying that John wouldn't win a parenting award but was there for them when they needed him. Cas asked me about if I had a story. I told him about how my dad didn't know I was drinking at 15 years old until I was throwing up in the toilet the next morning. I would always remember that story. My dad was so mad but he excepted that was the way to get rid of my pain from my closest family and friends being killed by a demon in one night. After our stories we all agreed that Claire was in trouble. When we had gotten to Randy's house Cas went to help fight Salinger with Claire while we took down the other guys. When we were leaving I was attacked by Salinger. Sam and Dean came back and when they returned I had killed everyone even Randy. Claire had walked back in and saw what had happened, she was so scared. The Brothers both knelled down next to me. Dean took my head into his hands, telling me that I had to kill them to defend my self and because they were bad people. I told them that I didn't mean to. 

~The next day~

I was sitting at the bottom of the bed still to get the images of me killing all those guys and scaring Claire. I left the room to go find all the boys and found them all in the library I walked in after listening to what they were saying. I admitted that what I did was wrong saying that "there was a time I was a hunter not a stone-cold killer." After I say that I tell them that the Mark has to go. All three of the boys say that they have searched everything they could find. But Cas told us that there might be another way.

Castiels P.O.V

I went to try and persuade Metatron to be brought to me, after he was given to me I was told to bring him back in one piece. After taking him to the Bunker, Sam chained him up in the dungeon while Metatron was saying that the Mark of Cain was making (Y/N) go nuclear. I left them and went to talk to Claire. She was trying to leave and I felt like it was my fault for the way her life has ended up. She tells me that she can no longer trust (Y/N) because she killed Randy that was like family to Claire. "(Y/N) (L/N) is a monster" she told me. I told her that there is a little monster in all of use. After I told her that she left. 

Dean P.O.V

(Y/N) was there to talk to Metatron before me and Sam and when we got there she had the door to the dungeon closed and locked. We could hear her talking to him and then we heard punching and her yelling at him for information, when it was silent Metatron had began yelling, she was torturing him, we needed to stop her before she killed him. We needed to know information about the Mark . He said that we will need the First Blade. We needed the blade so (Y/N) suggested that we called Crowley. I took that offer and called. We met with him to try and persuade him to bring us the blade. After we talked the three of us went back to the Bunker and Castiel joined us. Cas talked about how he was worried about Claire and asked (Y/N) if she would go talk to her and (Y/N) agreed. When we were done talking about it (Y/N) left voicemails for Claire about wanting to talk to her. 

Readers P.O.V

I was leaving voicemails for Claire because I was wanting to talk to her about what happened. Crowley then called me about having the First Blade but that he wouldn't bring me the blade until I had more information to tell him. I went to the dungeon and locked myself in with Metatron to make him tell me how to get the Mark of Cain off my arm. I began to beat him and cut him with an angel blade while the brothers and angel were banging on the door. I was so angry the Mark had begun to glow red, when I went to cut him again Castiel had shattered the door while Dean and Sam pulled me away with Cas taking him back to Heaven. The brothers told me about the powerful source it would take to remove the Mark and how I need to fight the killing it makes me want to do. While we were talking Claire called me saying that she wanted to talk. She gave me the address and I drove there in my car, when I got there I was walking up to her when she yelled no. I was attacked by a bat and an axe. I was able to overpower the people, shoving them to the ground, raising the axe. Claire was screaming no and I brought it down to the bench next to them before I left.
