"Shit!" I exclaimed as I pushed through the crowd of people surrounding Gate 9E, where I was supposed to be 10 minutes ago. Of course it had to be me that had to be late for their train. Frantically, I made my way to the escalator, held my ticket out to the security guard and scrambled down to the train platform. I sprinted, heavy suitcase in tow, to the train door, climbed in, and heaved my luggage up the steps. Promptly, the bell sounded and the train lurched forward. I made my way down the aisle of the business class car, muttering apologies as my oversized bags smacked into peoples' seats. Unfortunately for me, the seats seemed to all be full. Finally, I came across two seats near the front. One contained the person I least expected to see- a short, yet muscular man with a sparse beard, dark, curly hair that fell just above his broad shoulders, and piercing hazel eyes. The other seat was empty.
I was going to be sitting next to Mats Zuccarello and the New York Rangers for the entire 3.5 hour train ride back to New York.
