Nico's POV ________________________ I spent hours and hours pacing around my cabin, furious.
"Stupid,stupid,stupid Nico." I muttered angrily to myself. I should've just stayed in my cabin, where the world couldn't see me. Where I couldn't cause trouble.
* good kid from the Percy Jackson musical the Lightning Thief and sobbing in the background cuz of me* * memories* sorry on with the story
I'll stop now.
Anyway *ahem*
I knew I needed to make it up to Percy, so I decided to surprise him with a gift.
After looking for a while, I found a sea shell on the beach that I thought Percy would like.
It was a nice shade of aquamarine, with little pearls along the edges. It was a clam shape, with a smooth surface. It had a nice sheen green tint.
Somehow they reminded me of Percy's eyes; always looking like the sea, yet always changing.
I realized that it's one of his favorite things about Percy was that he was like the sea ; always surprising you, always changing, and hating to be restrained.
I wished that I stood a chance with Percy. But I knew I had to face the truth. That I would always be alone.
I collected my thoughts and headed back to my cabin. I polished the shell to give it a shine, then found a nice box to put it in.
It was a nice, rich velvet red with white silk in the inside. I placed the seashell gently inside, closed the box, and even found a blue bow to give to him.
I tucked a note in it saying:
Dear Percy, Sorry about Annabeth. I will do whatever I can to help you get her back. Just know that I am truly sorry. I found this on the beach and it reminded about you. I hope you like it. Sincerely, Nico
I dropped it of a the Poseidon Cabin. Just as I was heading back to my cabin, I heard a metal clanging coming from the arena.
I peeked inside and I saw Percy. He was practicing sword fighting. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt and jeans. His bangs were plastered on his face since he was sweating.
He looked exhausted. I always see him training in the arena for some reason. He claimed that it makes him feel better.
"Who are you looking at?" Said Will from behind me. "What the Hades?! Don't scare me like that. It's none of your business." "You were looking at Percy weren't you?," Will guessed.
*groan* "How did you know? Was it that obvious?" "Only to the whole world. You like Percy. Everyone knows but Percy. It's okay to be gay. " I blinked.
"Wait. Everyone knows that I like Percy but Percy?!" I dreaded this for so long. I slipped on my hood to keep Will from seeing that I was blushing.
It didn't work. He saw my nerves. He was a healer after all. He noticed things.
"Don't worry. I'll help you." "Don't you DARE Solace. " "Too late." He called over his shoulder as he walked away.
This was why I hated working and talking to/with people. I heard the dinner bell and headed over to the diner.
Percy's POV ___________________________
After dinner, I headed back to my cabin where I found a little box there. It was a nice, rich velvet red with white silk in the inside. I pulled on the blue ribbon then I opened it. There was a note that said:
Dear Percy, Sorry about Annabeth. I will do whatever I can to help you get her back. Just know that I am truly sorry. I found this on the beach and it reminded about you. I hope you like it. Sincerely, Nico
Underneath the note I saw a beautiful seashell. It was a nice shade of aquamarine, with little pearls along the edges. It was a clam shape, with a smooth surface. It had a nice sheen green tint.
I knew I needed to thank Nico, but I wanted to do it in person. That would give me an excuse to see and talk to him.
I decided to see him around 7:30 which gave me enough time to talk to Will. It was 6:55 right now. Will said that he wanted to talk to me about something. Nico would have to wait.
Will's POV ___________________________
I knew that Nico would not admit that he liked Percy so I knew I would have to step up for Nico.
I had asked Percy to meet me around 6:57. I looked at the time. 6:56. He should be here soon. Sure enough, he bursted through the door.
"Sorry, am I late?" He asked me, panting. He seemed to get more winded these days ever since he's been back from ...well, I refuse to say it. It's crazy how he survived. He was lucky.
I admire him for that. "Am I late?" He asked again as I snapped back to the present.
"No, Percy you right on time." I said. "What did you want to tell me?"
"Well, this isn't easy to say so I'm just gonna spit it out. Nico has a crush on you." I blurted out. "He does?" Percy asked again, looking confused. "Don't tell him I told you. " I begged.
"Your secret's safe with me."
