I held me breath as I slowly turned around. It was. Her. No it couldn't be.
She was still standing in front of me.
"Annabeth? What happened to you? Let go of Annabeth right now, Kelli. Now. "
Annabeth shock her head trying to warn me. But about what?
Nico's POV ☠🍟
"What. Did. You. Just. Fucking. Do. " I demanded. Will was hanging his head down in shame. "I'm sorry. "Don't try to help me. No one could possibly love me. Let alone PERCY. Why is that so hard to see that?"
"Because everyone deserves a chance at happiness."
" I had my chance at happiness, Will. Years ago. And it's gone. It's too late for me. So you're not helping. Leave. Me. Alone. " I could feel tears starting to fill me eyes.
"Nico," Will said in a soft voice," you're not alone. Look around. There's billions of people wanting to be there for you. Wanting to be friends. Just let them in. You aren't worthless. Anyone could tell you that. "
Tears were falling out of my eyes. I slowing sat down. "Why Will. Why?"
"If you want me to talk to Percy then let me know. "
Will then stood up and turned the door knob. "Will?" "Yeah?" "Thank you. For everything. " " No problem, Neeks. "
Suddenly, we heard a scream. "It's coming from the forest! 'Cmon!!"
"Coming!" I quickly wiped my tears and grabbed my sword. We tore through the camp, running and panting, until we found Percy. "Percy!" Will hollered. "Will! Thank the gods. I need help. Kelli is here. "
Percy's POV🌊🍪
Kelli ran. I followed her. I'm sure this is the part where people in horror movies are about to do something and the audience yells no but the characters do it anyway.
That's was I was doing. She ran like lightning but luckily I was a pretty decent runner. I lost her in the woods somewhere until I heard a scream. "Percy!" Will hollered. "Will! Thank the gods. I need help. Kelli is here. " I said, thankful that they came.
We ran around the forest, finding completely nothing. NOTHING. Not a single stinking trace. I was worried. Screw that. Super worried. Annabeth is the love of my life.
We were about to head back when Nico found a single piece of cloth. With an owl. We examined it until we notice that there was something stitched into it. It said," If you want Annabeth back, find the clues around camp, that lead you to her, then your lost love. Here is your for clue:
