Katherine walks into Chad Greene's office and start her second day on the job. So far she has been dreading it. Mr. Greene has so far made her "fetch" him three cups of tea, file four complaints...which means throwing them straight in the trash.., and doesn't let her sit down.
She stands in front of the desk and sees Chad standing in front of a window, pinching the bridge of his nose and has his eyes closed. "Katherine, I need you to get me some tea."
"Okay.."
"Mr. Greene.." He mutters.
"Hm?" Katherine raises her eyebrows at Chad.
"You only address me as Mr. Greene. Do you understand Katherine? I absolutely cannot stand it when people do not address me by my last name." He hisses quietly. "Get me some painkillers while getting me my tea."
Katherine nods her head quietly, watching Chad stay in the same stance while she walks into the elevator, still facing him as the doors close. As she rides down to floor one, she thinks about his chiseled face and green eyes that are as fascinating as his smirk.
She lets out a small shaky breath so she will pull herself out of her thoughts, listening to the elevator music.
About five minutes later, she steps out of the elevator and over to Stacy quietly. "Howdy Katherine!" She fake smiles. Katherine shows a small smile and walks into the staff room, making tea for Chad. As she sits there, the machine spits out the green liquid at a piping hot temperature.
Katherine starts rummaging around the area for some painkiller pills as the machine stops pouring tea. She finds some and picks up the hot cup of tea and heads back into the elevator. Stacy waves at her and she waved back as the elevator door closes.
She steps out of the elevator and onto Mr. Greene's office. As she walks up to his desk to set the tea down, he bumps into her, causing to spill the tea all over her chest on her blouse. Today was the worst day for her to wear a white shirt. "Aw! God!" She exclaims loudly and hisses at the pain.
"Maybe you should look around while you're walking.." Chad mutters quietly and starts wiping the liquid off of Katherine's shirt, pretending not to look at what's underneath, since it's see through.
Katherine focuses on Chad's face, looking at how focused he was on cleaning her shirt. "Thank you..." She whispers quietly. He looks into her eyes with a softer look than usual, her breath hitched up in her throat from anxiety. "Welcome." He says and after purses his lips into a fine line. Going back to wiping her shirt, he scrunches his eyebrows softly.
After he is done, he throws the napkins away and goes into a closet, digging a blanket up and throwing it at her. Katherine catches it and wraps it around her shoulders, staying quiet and keeping her head down.
"Sit down there and let me show you what files to sort." Chad says with a softer tone, feeling bad for spilling his tea on her shirt. But he's not gonna show that he feels bad. Katherine walks over to the desk in a corner of the room, where stacks upon stacks of files of different colors are sitting on top the desk.
"Purple gets thrown away, red is shredded, and green is going to be read through. Make notes of the most important facts on a separate sheet for the green files and place it on top of my desk." Chad starts talking bitterly again. Katherine nods, noting that about 80 percent of the files are green. "Oh and...get it done by the end of today." He smirks slightly and sits back over at his desk to meddle on his phone.
"Yes Mr. Greene."
Katherine sighs extremely quietly to not anger Chad and starts with the red files first, since it is the smallest pile. She started feeling a bit cold from the tea cooling down on her shirt.
