Beca Decides it's Time

Beca wakes up to the sound of Fat Amy snoring next to her in her hotel room, everyone has their own but Amy decided not to sleep in hers because of a previous incident involving some rando she met the night before.  Normally Beca would mind, but she can't be bothered to care right now.  Today is a big day for her for many reasons.  Not only is she going to be performing as a signed artist tonight, but she is finally gaining the courage to tell Chloe she loves her.

Beca has been in love with Chloe for years.  She has loved her since college, but things were complicated then because she was also very much in love with her ex boyfriend Jesse.  Her and Jesse broke up three years ago though because of distance.  Her and Chloe have been living together in New York and even sharing a bed ever since then.  Over the past three years of this, the two girls have become inseparable.  To anyone else, it looks like they are in a relationship, which they pretty much are, but Beca has been too scared to admit her feelings to Chloe.  However, many things will be changing soon and this trip has proved that.  Beca knows now is the time to tell her the truth.

Chloe loves surprises, especially romantic ones.  Just one of the things Beca has figured out over the years.  Beca hates big romantic gestures, but she wants to make tonight special which means doing anything to make Chloe happy.  She enlists the help of all the other Bellas, which maybe wasn't the best idea since they are now constantly making fun of her for being 'whipped' or a 'softie'.  She asked Aubrey to take her out for the day before her show so she wouldn't be in her room.  They all scramble around all day in order to help set up the perfect night for the two girls.  As the day goes on, Beca gets more and more nervous and begins freaking out.  She doesn't believe Chloe could ever love her back and she doesn't want to lose her best friend.  They call Stacie to help calm her down but she isn't having any of Beca's shit.

"Calm down Beca, we all know you two have been in love with each other for years.  You have nothing to worry about."

"You don't know that Stacie."

"Ok, I tried to be nice but you're being an idiot.  Get your head out of your ass and open your fucking eyes.  Chloe has been waiting for you to tell her this since your freshman year of college.  Tonight is going to be perfect, you just have to stop freaking out."

"Thanks, Stace.  I'm just scared, ya know?"

"I know, that redhead is pretty scary, but she is also insanely in love with you.  Tell me how everything goes"

And with that, Stacie hangs up the phone.  Beca felt a lot better after that and was ready for tonight again.  She was surprised to look up and see Lilly standing in the corner, clearly back to her old ways.  She didn't question it however and just decided to go finish up Chloe's surprise.

The performance is about to begin and the girls successfully finished Chloe's surprise without minimal freak outs.  Aubrey and Chloe just got back and got ready in Aubrey's room.  Aubrey desperately tried to speak to Beca before the show, but she couldn't catch up to her.  Little did Beca know Aubrey was now aware of Chloe's feelings for Chicago and wanted to warn her not to go through with tonight.
