character desc:

harper is a 15 year old girl who has just moved to derry. she has a bit of social anxiety so it is harder for her to go up and meet new people after she moves. attends derry highschool. in advanced math, advanced ELA, and on grade level in all other classes. did cheerleading at her old school, tries out at derry in an attempt to put herself out there. enjoys writing, musical and straight theater*, and enjoys average teenager things. harper has never been kissed.

other facts:

harper was cheated on in her previous relationship, consequently leaving her with some trust issues. to her, loyalty is everything- friendship or relationship wise.

* a straight play is a play without any musical performances

sara:

she had harper shortly after she turned 21, and although she was young, she was determined to give her daughter a good life. sara finished college and got married to her high school boyfriend, mike, at 23. sara's parents passed away when harper was 4, as they died in a car accident caused by a woman under the influence. because of this, sara makes sure to tell harper that for if whatever reason she does get drunk, never to drive under the influence, as it can cause harm to yourself and whoever else could be involved in an accident. sara has always had a lot of trust in harper, as harper has shown her much responsibility throughout the years. sara is unable to have anymore kids because of a medical mystery that leaves the mothers in her family infertile after the first successful pregnancy. she feels very lucky to have harper.

mike:

when mike was 6, his parents put him up for adoption because they were simply unable to give him the life he deserved. although it took him a while to adjust, he eventually found his forever family that gave him the best life he could've asked for. and that is exactly what he wanted to do for harper. mike, like sara, was only 21 when harper was born, but he knew he had to be the dad that every child deserved. he was always there for her, and he worked very hard to make sure she had the best childhood any kid would ever dream of. whether it be trips to disney world, or the new barbie dream-house, he made it happen. mike always makes sure harper knows how much she is loved and that she is the best thing that has ever happened to him. he is so proud to call her his daughter.

other facts:

the pair were eachother's first relationships. they plan on adopting a baby in the near future.
