* at le front porch*

"Fuuuucccckkkkk!!!!I can feel my six pack of pudding growing into six pack of rocks right now!!!!! " I was able to gasp out while I dying in the grass whith my friends.
"Y/n wh-why did u stop me?? " leo asked me as he gasped for air ,sweating.
"I had to,if I didn't he would have killed u... I saw it in his eyes." I said as I looked at the sunny sky.
I got up with grass in my (h/l)(h/c) hair and I wanted to listen to some of my music so I tap my back pocket..... It wasn't there. I started to panic I looked in all of my pockets. Then I forgot it's with black hat.
"Fuck my liiiifffffeeee" I said laying back as my friends looked at me.
"My phone is back with black hat along with our other stuff." I said making everyone check in what they forgot too.
We all sighed in sync.
"Well someone is getting them cause I'm not going back there. " jealyn said rubbing her neck.
"I am not letting u back there alone unless ur with me" I determinedly said standing up. I got my keys out and unlocked the front door. We all went inside and everyone sat on the couch as I went to the fridge to get the Popsicles I bought that one day. I grabbed the nice cold flavored treats and made my way to everyone and threw them there favorite colored one. We watch tv for a few hours as we were satisfied from the Popsicles.
"Oh y/n how did u know who black hat was?? "Alliah said as she finished her 10th popsicle.
"Oh I saw him on the news. He is one of the top villain in our city"I said laying on her lap.
Everyone looked at me with a'what the fuck' then at each other.
"Y/n" leo said grabbing my attention.
"U r the coolest person I have ever met in my life!!!! " he said as everyone agreed with him.
After that we watched tv till it was time for dinner. We decided to order some take out. We waited for the (f/food) to arrive.
'Knock knock' I got up and opened the front door. It revealed a teenage boy with his hat on real low. He gave me the (f/food) and I paid him. We ate at the dinner and talked for awhile. Leo saw the piece of paper from yesterday that I threw away since it was the only colored black paper there.
"Hey y/n what is this paper? " he asked holding it up for everyone to see.
"O idk, it was on the brick that guy threw in here last Knight. " I said.
He opened it and I can see his face go from confused to scared. I got up and grabbed the paper from him.
'I-I  can't believe this' I mentally said as the note read 'u can run but u can never hide' it reminded me of that knightmare I had.
"A-are they... i-is it them?  Are they coming for us?  Are they going to take us back?" Leo's questions made me mad. It brung up so many unwanted memories.
"NO!! " I yelled out slamming my hand on the counter. He jumped making him snap out of his memories too. Jealyn and alliah just sat there as they were remembering theirs too. I sighed and ripped the note into pieces.
"I can't be them... We all remember that we burned it to the ground! "I said not looking at anyone.
"Look I know this raises many things but I promise u we r not going back there not now ....not ever!" I let that sink into everyone then we ate in awkward silence.

*le time skip to room*

That note made me think of my knightmare...... And my past.
I was a test subject ever since I was 12.
I was kidnapped and brought to an abandoned hospital deep in the woods from where I use to live.
They stuck needles, tubes, and put all kinds of liquids in me.
My new home was a  rusty old cage, ment for animals in a dark room filled with mutants also in cages.
Hell I even seen some die in front of me. I was hardly fed so I ended up starving for days.
I don't know how many times I want to die but I was determined to stay alive so I let them torture me everyday till I was on the verge of dying.
So they mutated my blood with the stuff they injected me with.
Then finally they got what they wanted. I was a flying mutant.
I have (f/c)eyes and really big bird wings that are a dusty gold color..... Then something happened to me when I mutated my wings.
I can change my left eye to blue and my right to dark brown and hide my wings in my back and when I want to show them, they literally look like someone is trying to claw there way out of my back it doesn't hurt but it feels weird to do it, so I don't do it, I just keep them hidden, but it doesn't ripped my clothes when I show them....that is the weirdest one about them and every time I was like hurt, stabbed , bruised, or and sign of cuts it heals up fast. Like if I had a really deep wound it would heal in 5 days top with no scars.
They tested all these theories in death fights with different mutants. I hated it but hey it taught me to fight.
But I ended up killing each mutant. Then one fight I snapped I had enough of the torture they gave me everyday and it drove me to insanity.
All I remember was killing scientists and guards who tried to stop me leaving them with the walls painted with there blood. I freed so many mutants and caused a fire with the stuffed I destroyed.
I watched the building burn to the ground laughing like I was delirious.
I fainted when it was burning.
I woke up with a group of mutants that saw me.
There names were jealyn, alliah, and leo. They were just like me.
They thought I was wounded due to how much blood their was on me.
It tramitized me when I saw the blood on my hands and the flashbacks of me killing everyone.
So we started a life of freedom and hid what we were, mutants. Now we live here in a beautiful place but I fear that it's going to be ruined.
But I'm not letting that happen.
I destroyed them once, I can do it again.
And no one is taking our happy ending.
'I can still see the blood on me and them screaming.'I mentally said as I looked at my hands.
I ruffled my (h/l)(h/c) and laid down on my bed.
'Knock knock'
It startled me for a moment bringing me back to reality.
"Come in" was all I said as I got up.
Leo, alliah, and jealyn walked into my room and sat down in different spots.
"Are u ok y/n" alliah asked showing some worryness.
"Yeah I'm OK" I lied.
I sighed and I could feel my eyes tear up.
"No I'm actually not" I said letting some tears go down my face.
Leo sat next to me rubbing my back and hugging me.
I wiped my tears away and thank leo for calming me down.
I took deep breath so I didn't hyperventilate.
"Sorry I was having flashbacks of the hospital and the tests and everything they did to us" I said looking down.
"Y/n I know that they were painful but we're free from them and there not going to take us back to the hell they put us through. " alliah said holding my hand and jealyn holding the other.
"U set us free y/n and now we live a normal life like we wanted to...with u  " jealyn said through her tears.
I laughed I little and we grouped hugged on my bed.
"OK OK let's go watch tv to get our minds off of this" I suggested and we all agreed.
That night we all slept in the living room in a little cushion fort we made with blankets and couch cushions in the middle of the room. We were happy to be with each other.
