You awkwardly stood in the middle of the room, not real knowing what to do while Tom was installing his camera.
He was softly humming a song, maybe Cigarette Daydream by Cage the Elephant? You couldn't identify it, all you knew was that you liked the way his voice sounded.

"Mmmh... Okay, everything seems good! We'll start soon, just take a very small step on your right"
You did what he told you, a smile appeared on his face.
"Good! Thank you!" Tom said as he concentrated on the small screen of the camera.

You didn't know why you were there, he refused to tell you. Therefore, the ambience was slightly awkward. Plus, he was the older brother of one of your classmates, which meant that she was always there when him and you talked.

"Y/N?" You snapped out of your thoughts at the sound of his sudden call.
"Yes?"
"It's recording" Tom simply said, you stared at him not knowing what to do.
"Look at the camera" You followed his order, trying your best to stay calm.
"Now listen to me carefully" His words scared you yet his tone was comforting.
"I have a project... This project is very important to me, you understand?" You nodded.
"All you have to do what I say, okay?" He smiled got wider as he stared at you for a few seconds before handing you a paper.
"Now, read this" You nodded and read carefully.

"To you, my dear love. When the stars are sparkeling and the moon is shining, all I can think about is my sister's classmate-" You paused, finding it extremely cringy and bad written. "Her smile, which I don't see that much, can be compared to the sun. Even though it is not yellow.-" You paused again and looked up at Tom, his cheeks were tainted in pink and a slight layer of sweat was covering his forehead.
"Everywhere, I go she shows up, but I don't ever mind sharing oxygen. When she's in the room, she gets my eyes. When she opens her mouth, I'm hypnotized-" You laughed as you let the sheet fall on the floor.

"Seriously, Thomas?" You took a small step fowards.
"1. It's really cringy. 2. The way you write is horrible, and let's not talk about your sense of poetry! 3. you literally took some lyrics from a song." The whole time you were reproaching him things, his head fell down slowly. Shame taking over his body and soul.
"And 4. I love you too. Dumbass." He looked up, a smile forming on his face.
"You do?"  Tom said either his mouth 1/2 smile and 1/2 agape.
"I do"
