" Libitina, I know your childhood was rough but you shouldn't take it out on us! " I yelled, trying to not bump into anything as I ran to the bright door at the end of this dark hallway, " What did we do to deserve this?! "

" Shut up Monika! If you were me, you would know exactly how I feel! "

" I would know if you would just tell me! "

The door quickly went further away from me.. I started chasing after it while hearing the bloody screams grow louder.

" Like you would understand?! I've been through hell! I've been stabbed, tortured and experimented on for years! Every single day was a pain! It's like I've been programmed to kill people.. To kill you.. "

A sharp needle popped right out of the ground, cutting through my pants and sliced my ankles. I dropped down, still seeing the bright door going further and further away from me.. It can't end like this.. It can't f*cken end like this!

" Libitina! " I called, getting the rest of my strength I had left to start crawling and pulling my body towards the door, " W-We're your friends! We would never hurt you! "

" YOU'RE LYING "

" I'm not! " I coughed, feeling the last bit of oxygen drift away from me, " I-I'm sorry! "

The screams stopped.. The bright door disappeared.. A small dark figure began walking towards me.

" Y-You're sorry..? " it spoke..

" Y-Yes. I'm sorry they hurt you.. You never deserved that.. No one does " The last words poured out of my mouth before dropping my head down onto the ground. The air was gone.. And I was about to go along with it too..

~Libitina's POV~

I took a step back from Monika's body.. I glanced around and saw the other two friends I ever had.. Just starring at me. Wh-what did I do?! What did I JUST do?! I-I killed Monika.. I-I killed her?!

" Monika! Monika wake up! " I cried, dropping onto my knees and started rubbing her shoulder, " Monika! Monika please! "

What was this feeling? Guilt? Pain? Whatever it is.. It's hurting me more than what I've been through..
I killed.. I killed a person that cared about me.. Who actually apologized to me.. The first to apologize.. And I just.. Killed her.?
N-No.. N-No I didn't mean it! I didn't mean it!
Tears of true pain, poured out of my eyes.. I gently moved her bangs away from her closed eyes. Weakly smiling, I rested my head beside hers. I miss her voice already.. Her kindness..

" I'm sorry Monika.. " I gently whispered, " I'm sorry Natsuki.. I'm sorry Sayori.. "

I stood back onto my feet, " The world is better and always will be.. Better off without someone like me.. "

The next morning..

~Monika's POV~

" No wait! " I shot up from the bed. The nurse, who was checking my blood pressure, jumped, " I-I'm just checking your blood pressure!! "
I looked around.. I'm in the hospital?
A doctor came in, with a girl who looked like.. Natsuki?
" Natsuki! " I called. She weakly looked up at me and teared up, " Monika! "
She ran towards me and gave me a tight hug, crying into my shoulder.

" Monika, you're okay! " she sobbed, " Thank god! "

" I'm glad you're okay too " I smiled, hugging her back but then noticed..
" Where is Sayori? " I slowly asked.

" She's in the operating room " Natsuki answered, sounding very worried, " Y-Yuri.. Kind of.. Hit her a couple of times.. "
Speaking of Yuri.. Or Libitina.. Where is she now?

A couple of hours later.

" Okay Sayori, do you think you could stand? " I over heard the doctor say from the other room. The door opened and Sayori slowly walked out with the doctor guiding her.
" Sayori! " Natsuki and I shouted.
" Natsuki! Monika! " She laughed, " Look at me! I got a robo knee "
" It's not a " robo " knee " the doctor blankly mumbled, " It's just a replacement "
" Doc says I need to get used to this " she giggled. I laughed as well and leaned back into the bed.

" Hey when could we leave? I'm hungry! " Sayori pouted as she gently tugged on the doctor's coat.
" In a few days.. We still have to watch over you guys until we think you're capable to go home " he answered.
