Dipper's POV:
The battle was raging all around us, my men getting stabbed or magically killed left and right. I would have helped them if I wasn't busy trying to not get killed myself, plus I had a very important job to do. My king had given me a very special job to do, kill the other side's King. Supposedly he was 'arrogant' enough to fight with the rest of his men, but I thought that was actually a brave thing to do considering our king is acting like all the other coward kings who hide behind their army. Yes, I may not have the highest opinion of my king, but I am loyal to my kingdom so I will fight and do my duty to my kingdom by fighting in this war. I almost felt bad for having to kill this king, I'll just have to tell him I thought he was a good king before I kill him.
The mission was going great, so far I haven't been killed and I think I spotted the other king. He had much fancier armor that served as not only more decorative but as more coverage and extra durability. That was for sure the king. The king was a demon, most of the fighters here were demons with a few humans who could actually stand a chance against demons in the mix. Soon the king had to be taken back to rest, getting this special treatment because he was the king. Not really fair, but he does run the kingdom so I can see why they want to make sure he's in good health. I fight to get closer and soon I'm able to slip in as an attendant to the king.
I was acting as if I was cooking food, then I got a pitcher of water and a fancy cup to go bring to the king during his rest. I made sure that my disguise was good enough, my sword being hidden somewhere and a dagger strapped to me, before walking in with the water. I held out the hand with the tray before bowing as I stepped through the tent's entrance so I didn't spill the water. I then walked over to the king on his bed, who was looking over battle strategies, before saying "Your Majesty, a beverage to help regain your proper hydration." The king then looked at me and gave me a dazzling smile, one that could light up any room. He was mighty handsome and, by the looks of him, also very fit and strong. I shook off my thoughts and served him the fancy goblet of water before standing to his side, waiting to strike.
"Does Your Majesty require anything else while I am here?" I asked him. He shook his head and said, "No. Please leave the pitcher on the nightstand and you are dismissed." I smiled at his politeness and respect for his servants, it certainly would be a shame to kill him. I set the pitcher on the nightstand as instructed and then quietly unsheathed my dagger. I quietly stepped up to the king saying, "Of course Your Majesty, it seems like it would have been a pleasure to serve your kind soul. May it rest in peace." as I slammed the dagger down onto my sweet victim.
Only, the dagger never hit anything. My dagger had stopped mid-air, right above my victim and he didn't even raise his handsome head. "Yes, I do hope it does when the time comes. Sadly for you, that would not be today." I stood there shocked before trying to run away, only to find my body paralyzed. I struggled for a few minutes before finally giving up. "Sleep, you'll be taken care of while we take you to the castle where you will awake in the morning," he said. I fought as best I could, but this unnatural sleepy sensation came over me and I couldn't stop it from taking over.

I woke up groggily, coming out of a deep slumber. I tugged my hand to rub my weary eyes, only to find them bound to something. As my memory came back I gained more and more conscience, eventually having the clarity to look around the room clearly. I looked at what I was tied to only to find it was a rather comfortable bed. The bed, I found, was in a lavish room full of gold and very fancy looking items. I shivered as I felt a cold chill run over my body, I looked down only to find my shirt had been removed in my sleep. I shouldn't be surprised, makes it easier to clearly see where the injuries have been inflicted and where to put more. I struggled against my bonds only to stop when I realized they were made with magic and there was no possible way to escape.
