Marinette smiled and wandered to the school grounds. The sun was bright and birds were chirping, it looked like a scene straight out of a fairytale. Just then, her vision was clouded by black, she inhales sharply and holds her breath.

"Guess who?" A male voice says in a deep voice, sending his warm breath down her spine.

"I-I d-d-don't want a-any t-trouble!" She squeaks, terrified of what would happen. The person burst into laughter, taking his hands away in the process. Marinette swiftly turn around and groaned when she saw who her 'attacker' was.

"Adrien! That was not funny!" She growled which made his laughter grow. Minutes after the blounde boy stood up properly and wiped away a tear.

"You done?" Marinette said plainly, her arms crossed over her chest.

"Aww, c'mon Princess! That was funny!" He chuckled and Marinette just scrunched up her face and poked her tounge out. Adrien smiled and slung an arm over her shoulders, she wrapped an arm around his waist and they both started to walk to school together.

They reached the front of the school, their best friends raced towards them.

"Guys! Have you heard about the Miraculous Gang!?" Alya stared at the couple, worry etched into her face. Adrien and Marinette glanced at each other.

"We have, but they were put away, remember?" Adrien said reassuringly, rubbing Marinettes shoulder. Nino shook his head.

"Nah dude. They escaped! Its all over the news!" Marinette's face grew worried as she dug her face into her boyfriends side. Adrien looked down at his girlfriend and chuckled softly, she never did like scary things. He bent down so that she was eye level with her.

"Hey, its ok! I'll protect you Princess" he said sweetly and kissed her forehead. Marinette looked into Adriens eyes and smiled.

"Thank you, Kitty" She pecked his nose. They turned back to their friends, they playfully glared at Alya when they found her recording the whole thing.

"C'mon dudes, lets get to class." They all started walking, they heard a screech of tires behind them. They turned around to find people in costumes and masks clamer out. Screams and gaspes were heard, it could only be one thing. The Miraculous Gang.

"EVERYONE GET INSIDE!!" Adrien yelled, the criminals glared at him as everyone started running. Marinette and Adrien reached the top step when they heard a scream. They duo looked back and found Alya on the floor with a scraped knee.

"ALYA!!" Adrien raced towards her and pulled her up they stared to speed-walk back when Adrien was pulled back.

"ADRIEN!!" Marinette screamed, tears streaming down her cheeks. A man in a dark purple butterfly suit heald onto the boy. Adrien tried to punch and kick but the man just tightened his grip. Adrien sighed and slowly stopped, he knew it was useless. He glanced up and saw his girlfriend starting to walk down the stairs.

"Marinette! Get inside!" He pleaded, his eyes met hers, with tears down her cheeks she stopped and stared at him. He smiled softly.

"I-I love you...Princess" Was his last words before he was pushed into the back of the black van as it drove off.

"I-I love you....Princess" Marinette stared at him as he was shoved into the back of the black van. Hot tears streamed down her cheeks as she stood still, glued the her spot, before dropping to her knees and bursting into more tears. Marinette screamed and cried, begging for him to come back. The students slowly started to trinkle out of the entrance.

Nino and Alya bent down to her and placed a hand on her back.

"A-Adrien?" They said slowly, Marinette just shook her head and continued to cry in her hands. Alyas gasped as her eyes filled with tears.

The sun was blocked with dark clouds, crackling thunder was heard in the backround as it started to rain. None of them cared if they got wet, or caught a cold. They just cried.

Months later Adrien was declared dead, the police have searched all over France but there was no sign on Adrien or the Miraculous Gang. The month after the search was given up, his funeral was taken place.

"Marinette Dupain-cheng would you please come up and say a few words" The raven-haired girl stood up from her seat in the crowd of people, and walked to the stage.

"H-Hi, i...Adrien was caring, k-kind and he always put o-others before him...h-he loved and forgave others, even when you made the worst mistakes." Tears streamed down her cheeks. "I-i'm sorry! But i can't do this" she raced to the wooden doors and shoved them open, memories flashed.

"Adrien, you got a little something...there!" She bopped his nose, putting flour on it in the process.

"Oh, you wanna play that game?" He smeared frosting over her cheek and laughed. Marinette giggled and grabbed the flour. She started chashing him around her kitchen.

"I-I love you.....Princess" He smiled softly as he was shoved into the back of the van.

"Adrien?" He hummed in response, playing with a strand of her hair. "Promise me you won't leave me?" He chuckled and looked into her eyes.

"I promise you, that i will never leave you. Cat's honour." He winked as they both burst into giggles.

"You broke your promise...Kitty...." Marinette stopped running and dropped to her knees in tears, unaware of a hooded figure watching from behind a nearby tree.
