Henry tosses the magic bean in front of him and the portal opens up in the middle of the road. He looks back at his mother before driving off on the motorcycle. Passing through the portal he's blinded by a flash of light, and when he opens them he sees he's on a highway, and right in front of him is the wreckage of a small plane. Henry hits the brakes and skids to a stop right in front of it. The air around him has a weird scent to it, almost smells like death mixed with a sickly sweet scent. He turns around and gasps. Right behind him an wall of mist rises up unnaturally high. After looking closer her notices that it curved inwards and seemed to make a dome shape.

"Where the hell am I?" He says

He turns around to start his bike, only to realize that the front tire was flat.

"Shoot, I hope there's a town up ahead."

He walks around the plane and follows the highway, passing a sign that read.

When Henry arrived to town he find it empty, not a single person was outside. The street lights were on, and there were a couple lights in the distance. Out of the corner of his eye he see blinds snap shut. Suddenly a eerie laughter fills the air. He spins around and sees a balloon floating in the middle of the road. All the hair stands up on his body as the balloon grows in size and explodes, and behind it was a clown. In a silver suit with bright orange pom poms down the front.

"Hello Henry, why are you walking around out side? Don't you know its dangerous?" It asks. Henry takes a step back and the clown reaches his arm forward flashing a toothy grin, its mouth was filled with fangs and its arm slowly extends towards him. Just before it's going to reach him, a old car comes flying through the air and slams into it.

"Come on! Get inside!" He hears a girl yell. He turns to see a girl with mousey blonde hair standing in a apartment doorway. Without looking back Henry runs for the door, right before he reaches it, something grabs onto his ankle pulling him to the ground. Looking back he sees the clown was now grabbing onto his ankle. There was a loud snapping of metal and one of the street lights go out as it swings like a bat and takes the clowns head off. It let go allowing Henry to get up and run into the building as the girl slams the door shut.

"What the hell are you thinking being out side at night!!" She yells spinning around to face him, the lights flicker and Henry looks at her.

"I just got here, I don't known where i am"

"I call bullshit, no one comes through the dome,  and no one survives the mist long enough."

"I came through a portal, is that mist poison?" He asks her.

"The mist won't kill you, its what's in it. What the hell do you mean a portal?"

Henry pulls out his book and showed her the last page which now shows him driving through the portal and appearing at the edge of the dome. She picks up the book and starts flipping through pages.

"These are all fairytales." She says.

"Ya, and their also my family. My mom is the daughter of Snow White, my adoptive mother is the Evil Queen, my family tree is confusing."

She hands him the book.

"I don't believe any of it." She says.

Henry sighs and pulls out a small case and opens it revealing the Authors pen. He gets out a blank page and starts writing something down. The moment he finishes the words glow and a mirror appears on the wall behind him. The girl gasps and looks into it.

"How?"

"Sidney" Henry says and the glass smokes up and a man's face appears in it.

"Yes, sir Henry."

"Show me my moms please." The glass smokes up again and shows Granny's where Emma and Regina having coffee. Moments later the mirror fades away.

"Unbelievable..." the girl says touching the place where the mirror was.

"I'm Henry." He says holding his hand out.

"Carrie." She says taking his hand and shaking it.

"Why did that clown try to kill me?" Henry asks.

"To feast. He feeds off the fear of the citizens and at night he feasts on anyone outside."

"That is terrifying." Henry says.

"Ya, but I have a group of friends who've been the only ones to kill it. Even momentarily. Once the Mist and this dome came they were changed."

"What do you mean changed?"

"Well, when they first took it on it was 1958, and then again in 1985, and now a few years ago It came back and then this mist and dome come with it, and they they become the same age they were in in 1958. They've aged since, and we are all just barely surviving in here."

"What kind of place is this?" Henry asks.

"A place of nightmares." She says
