CHAPTER 6.
I layed on my bed staring at the ceiling and thinking about stuff. I was hungry and tired but I couldnt sleep.
Kells came into my room walking in slowly. He sat next to me looking at the wall.
"A new position you got yourself" He said. "What do you mean?" I asked.
"You're usually just hugging your legs" He said. I was quiet.
"At least You're talking" He said but I was quiet.
"I wanna give you something" He said reaching something from his pocket. "Whatever it is, I dont want it" I said.
He took out a silver ring holding it in his fingers.
"Can I?" He asked slowly taking my hand and looking at me in my eyes. I was quiet but went with it.
He took my hand putting the ring on my index finger.
"There" He said.
"Thats all I wanted to give you" He said. He looked at me but when I wouldnt answer he got up starting to walk towards the door.
"Sit down" I said. He turned around looking at me.
"I have a question" I said as he came to me slowly sitting next to me.
"Why would you do it to her?" I asked looking at the wall. He was quiet.
"I dont wanna talk about this" He said.
"What? You aint got man enough in yourself to confess?!" I yelled.
"I dont wanna talk about this!!" Kells yelled putting his hand around my throat fast. I looked at his mad face as he looked at me.
"What are you gonna do? Kill me? Choke me to death... Rape me? maybe shoot me?" I asked looking at him. He got more mad and his grip on my throat got tighter.
"You told me you dont wanna hurt me. So make it quick without pain" I said.
He looked at me with sadness in his eyes loosening his grip on my throat slowly.
"I dont wanna hurt you. And I wont" He said letting go.
"Then Why would you hurt her?" I asked.
"I've changed, Anna!" He said.
"People wont change!!" I yelled. He looked at me.
"They dont fucking change no matter what you do or tell them!" I yelled.
He was quiet looking at me.
"Fine" He said getting up and going to the door.
"I'll Prove you i've changed" He said.
I watched him leave the room.
ANNAS POV:
I woke up in the morning to the guys talking in the other room. Something that really caught my attention.
"She cant stay for a day longer!" Cal said. "Why not?" Kells asked.
"Why did we take her in the first place?" Travis asked.
"Lets take her to Khaled. Let him do what he wants" Julio said.
"What? No" Kells said.
"She hates you Kells! Why do you try to protect her?" Cal asked.
"I care about her! Just let her go" Kells said.
"Why would we have kept her here for 5 days for no reason?" Cal asked.
"Everyone calm down" Travis said.
"She's leaving. In 5 minutes go tell her and take her to the car Kells" Travis said.
"What? No" Kells said.
"You will or Julio will" Travis said.
"What will Khaled do to her?" Kells asked.
"Its up to him." Travis said.
"Anyways, prepare her. Were waiting in the backyard smoking joints. She better be in that van in as little as 5 minutes"
Travis said.
"Fine." Kells said.
I heard the backdoor close with someone coming inside my room.
"Anna" Kells said coming in the room to me.
"What?" I got up as he quickly started taking my handcuffs off.
"Whats going on?" I whispered.
"They're taking you come on" He said.
"Where?" I asked but he was already taking my hand and running me upstairs.
"Kells! Tell me" I said as we were running upstairs to the bathroom.
"Kells?" I asked.
As we got to the bathroom he closed the door and went to the window.
"There's no time" He said opening it and taking my hand.
"Kells!" I said taking his arms.
He looked at me from eye to eye calming down.
"Anna" He said grabbing my neck.
"I need you to run" he said looking at me worried.
I looked at him.
"Where?" I asked.
He looked at me.
"Away" He said.
"You're gonna get in trouble" I said.
"Its a risk i'll take. For you" He said taking my hand.
I looked at him taking his hands.
"Lets go" I said pulling him to the window.
"No, just you. You go" He said.
"No! Not without you" I said looking at him with tears running down my cheeks but he wiped them with his thumb grabbing my neck.
"You're in danger, Anna" He said.
"No.. Im not leaving without you" I said.
"Im proofing you that i've changed." He said.
"Right now, im putting your life ahead of mine. And I need you to let me do it" He said. I looked at him.
I nodded my head slowly.
"Go.. Dont look back" He whispered wiping my tears.
"No.. No dont say that" I said.
"Come with me" I said.
"Go" he said looking at me.
"I love you Kells..." I said kissing him one more time.
He took my hand and wrapped a paper inside of it.
"Read it when You're safe" He said.
"What if I never see you again?" I asked.
He looked in my eyes.
"Go. You dont have time" He said.
He let go of my hands and I went to the window climbing out fast still looking at him.
"I do care about you" He said. I smiled and jumped out of the window to the sunset and the green wet grass.
I got outside and I smelled the fresh air in my lungs as I started to run to the concrete that felt smooth under my feet. I ran as hard as I could until I never looked back again. I saw foggy since I was crying with the tears falling.
I ran and ran.. I felt the freedom in my heart as I got to a house nearby. My heart bet out of my chest and I was sweaty from running.
The sunset was burning my eyes and I was breathtaken.
I continued by walking fast to a big white house. Close to the road where me and Sophia broke our separate ways
I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
It didnt take long until Sophia opened the door wearing a sweater and crying wiping her eyes. She raised her eyes from the ground to my face.
"Anna!!" She yelled hugging me tightly in her arms swinging me around.
"Oh my god! Where the hell were you?! The police are looking for you" She said.
"I... I was kidnapped" I said.
"Oh my god I thought I would never see you again" She said hugging me with tears in her eyes.
"Your parents have been calling me non stop for the past 6 days" She said.
"Maybe I should call them now" I said. She smiled.
"I just cant believe You're there" She said.
"I made it" I said looking at her.
