Chapter 7.
I sat in my room brushing my hair and thinking about the past. What happened a week ago. When I was abducted.
I looked out of the window tired with and my left wrist having thick scars on it. I looked at my index finger smiling and seeing the ring he gave me. It was a bit too big but it felt so good to wear I havent taken it off yet.
I then looked away to the window and mushed my hands in my pockets.
I felt something crumbly in my fist as my hand hit the bottom of my pocket.
I pulled something out and it was a paper note.
I opened it slowly revealing text starting to read it outloud.
" dear Anna.. The second you'll be reading this I know i'll be far away. Out of town. Out of land. And if Im not in neither, im in jail.
But I wanted to write you this letter, just so you know, I care. I care about you and I always did as soon as I met you. I didnt wanna hurt you and I wanted to set you free. So I did it..
Cause thats what you do when you love somebody"
The first lines said. It already made my eyes water.
"By the way, I went through your phone and saw all the calls from your parents and siblings. 200 phone calls in those 6 days. Geez."
He wrote.
"Anyways. I want you to know.. Whatever Travis told you back in that room, was not true. He was just trying to get you on his side. I've never done anything like that to anyone"
He wrote.
"But im gone now. I want you to know, that you will always be in my heart and I will always remember you no matter what. I know we will meet one day again. Love, Kells"
The last sentences said.
I put the paper piece down slowly putting my hands on my stomach petting it.
"Did you hear that little guy? Daddy's coming home soon" I said looking down at my stomach and then raising my eyes to the sky admiring the stars.
