Chapter 6 (Mayuzumi's betreyal)

Mayuzumi' POV

"Come on!! Train harder and pass your limits!!!" Our red haired captain/emperor shouted. We are currently practicing in our gym and akashi is making us train ten times harder than we used to.

Ever since the Seirin won the winter cup, akashi is so mad that we didn't win. So, he's making us to go through his hellish training regimens.

'This is tourture'. I thought and I shot the ball but it rolled around the rim before it went in."Chihiro your form is wrong!!! Seriously!! Why can't you do it right??!! It's just a simple shooting!!" Akashi shouted at me. 'Who could shoot right when your body is screaming in pain'. I said to myself internally because I don't want to anger him anymore.

"What are you guys doing??!!! Go back to practice!!" He said/shouted. That's when I realize that all of them were watching. It made me angry and clench my fist but I sigh to calm me a little and get a ball then go back to practice to let my all of my anger out.

Then suddenly akashi call me. "Chihiro, come here I need to talk to you." I suddenly feel uneasy like there's something bad is going to happen. I follow him to the locker room. I go in first then he comes in and close the door. "Sigh~ Chihiro... you're out of the team." He look at me with emotionless face as I widen my eyes in suprise and shock was completely in my face. Why,why was all in my head right now. "Why."  I asked. "Because you're not useful to any of us and you're just a toy to me. To entertain me." He said to me with a smirk on his face like he loves to see the sad face of myself. 'I thought I'm part of this team.' I ask myself, I'm not able to answer my question so I ask him. "I thought I'm part of this team." "Well you are the only one who is thinking about that and I recruit you because I thought you were stronger than tetsuya but no you're weaker besides you have a low pressence like him so we can completely forget about you." After that he left. 'I can't take this anymore.' I put my things in my bag and left out of the gym and go to the playground near our school.

I sat in the bottom of the slide and I fish out my novel. 'Maybe if I read I will forget about my anger and my midget former captain.'

I sat there and read like about 2 to 4 hours then somebody calls my name and that somebody is very familiar. "Oi mayuzumi!!" I look up to see the three uncrowned kings. "Why are you guys are here??" I asked them.

"We just wanted to look for you because you just go out of the gym like there was no training." "Yeah!! It's not fair that you get to skip while we suffer from akashi's hellish traning."

I sigh, I don't have the energy to deal with them right now. It looks like akashi didn't tell them about earlier. I just ignored them and began to read my novel. I saw them from the corner of my eyes that they are looking at each other then they look at me.

"Did... sei-chan kick you off the team." When he said that I gritted my teeth in anger and clutch my novel tighter. "He did?!?" Hayama asked me shocked then he just shrug it off. "Well it's ok because you are pretty useless in the past few weeks and your weak." "Why did sei-chan didn't tell is about this??" "Hmm.. maybe because he's to busy and just tell him to quit the team." Nebuya said. "Yeah you're right that must be it." Kotarou said while reo is nodding in agreement. 'That's it.' I got up and glared at them "If you guys come here to insult me and do nothing then leave me alone."

"Tch. Fine I'm hungry anyways." Nebuya said and walked pass me while purposely bumping to me hard, causing to let go of my novel I was holding. "You're always hungry." The two said while following nebuya while purposely bumping to me too and stepping to my novel. The three laugh then walking away leaving me alone.

I was angry... no furious. How can they do that to me!!!!! I trusted them to be my friends. I sigh then I bent down to get my novel while shaking off the dirt.

'How dare they said that to me. They didn't know what I am capable of. I'm going to show you what shadows can really do.' My train of thought are cutted by the ring of my phone I grab it then read the message. After that I immediately put my novel in my bag then run to the train station. 'I guess he's planning something.'
