Chapter 3: The Class That I wanted To Kill My Teacher
Recap: "What happened, did you guys kiss? OMG do you still have feelings for him, or does he still have feelings for you?" I was bombarded with hushed question so that the teacher would not be able to hear us and make us explain what we were talking about in front of the whole class. Been there done that, do NOT want that to happen again.
"I will tell both of you guys everything after school" I shushed them as thoughts about what just happened whirled around my head. Two question the Emma and audrey asked rang in my head over and over. "Do you still have feelings for him, or does he still have feelings for you?" the answer to those questions were I have no freakin idea.
The only reason I couldn't talk to my friends about the kiss at lunch was because we sit at a bigger table with people that don't need to know what went down between Alec and I. Of course unless Alec decides to talk about it, which i swear if he does I will pop his head like a bubble. Alec and his jock friends sit at the same table as I do along with the jock girls and "popular" kids. I am the captain of the girls softball, volleyball, and field hockey team while Emma is the captain of the soccer team and co-captain for almost everything else, Audrey is captain of the cheerleading squad except she was not the kind of captain that they show in the movies. Both Emma and Audrey are quiet, besides when they are with people that they are comfortable with, sweet, kind and very pretty. All three of us run the singing and dancing squads. Everyone else that are on the teams can choose to sit with us or their own group of friends who don't play any sports. We never say no to anybody who asks to sit with us at our table because we are not mean, we leave that to everybody nut Emma and Audrey in cheer.
By the time we got to our table the girls side was basically full except for scattered seats so in order to sit next to each other we had to sit on the boys side, which is common for us because we take our time to get here and don't rush to lunch like everyone else does. The boys side is better than the girls side in my opinion because there is a lot less drama, most of the time. The boys jocks are nice and they welcome only the three of us and the hottest cheerleaders to sit with them at lunch. I took my seat next to an three empty ones while Emma and audrey sat closer to the girls side. I don't know why but they HATED sitting next to boys while I don't mind who I sit next to. Just my luck I got stuck next to Alec, Luke and Matt. Alec chose to sit in between Matt and Luke which was a good choice considering what happened ten minutes into the first day of school.Matt sat next to me while Luke sat on the far side of Alec.
Towards the middle of lunch Matt leaned over and whispered in my ear making my whole body shiver. "I heard what happened and that was a nice move. Alec told me all about it. You are gonna need to talk to him about it sooner or later. If you need help I'm here and what is said between the two u us stays between the two us remember that." He started to pull away and as he did his lips barely grazed along my ear which made me shiver again. He just smirked at my reaction and joined in the conversation with the boys like none of the just happened. I thought nonstop about what Matt said and then heat rose to my cheeks and my hand flew to luke and I pulled him close so I could whisper back.
"Who else knows and who told them?" I was worried f the blabber mouths of the schools heard it. I knew I could trust Matt with anything and everything. he has always been there to console me. I don't go to my girl best friends when I have something bothering me, I go to Matt and so does Alec. We both know that Matt will keep both of our secrets and not tell another soul unless we give him the okay. Matt knows everything about me and I know almost everything about Matt because we have always been there for each other.
"No one else knows beside me and you know how I am, so no one else will know unless someone gives me the okay or you two blab it out. I swear." Not only did this make me shiver but I also hugged him. It wasn't awkward because he hugged back and I swear I saw Alec tense up.
At the end of lunch went to my next period ,English, and there were seats already assigned alphabetically into tables of 5. Lucky for me my table consisted of myself, Matt, Alec, Luke, and Mason. This class was officially my least favorite. We got to choose who we sat next to but it had to be with the other four on the list. I quickly jumped into the seat next to Matt and was worried about who would sit next to me. Alec because of what happened today, Luke because he is the bad boy that every girl falls in love with and I used to have a crush on him in the 5th grade, and Mason because he was shy mysterious and unknown. I only know Mason because we sat next to each other in some classes last year. Like I said before Alec knows everything about me, so he knows that I used to like both Alec and Luke and he also knows that last year I started to develop a crush on Mason. when neither Luke nor Alec decided to sit next to me I frantically searched for matt's hand. When I finally found it there was no hesitation to hold my hand in his. When Mason sat down next to me my breath hitched and I looked at Matt who just smiled, chuckled, and gave my hand a reassuring squeeze. He yet again leaned forward and whispered into my ear, "Relax, calm down, it's okay, it's just one class." He went back to his spot and I nodded feeling only a little bit calmer. That was the class that I wanted to kill my teach and would have if Matt wasn't there to hold my hand and calm me down.
