Chapter 5: This Is Gonna Be Harder Than I Thought

"I knew that was coming." Matt stated. "This was not a surprise to me. After Alec told me that you pinned him against the wall and you stated why you threw yourself at him, I knew that you would come to me and tell me about it. Now, I did not know however that we would all be in this situation." I gave him a dumbfounded look and he seemed to notice because he smirked and continued. "Now we are all in the same English group and have some kind of relationship with you. You now know that you still like Alec, you used to like Luke, you started to develop a crush on Mason last year, and I am your best friend."

"Oh shit! You are right, and can i tell you something?" I didn't bother to wait for an answer from Matt because I knew that I could but he still nodded. "I never really got rid of my feelings for Luke. I mean it's not like I swoon over him everytime he is nearby like i used to, but I never threw him out the window." Then another thought came to mind. "Is it wrong that I like and have crushes on 3 boys at a time?"

"No, I don't think so. I mean they couldn't be more different. I think the only one that may be a little bit crazy is Mason. I mean he is so weird and quiet nobody knows shit about him, but yet you still like him I just don't get why." Matt seemed cool with all of this and I was glad because if I were talking to Emma or Audrey then they would go bizerk! It's good to know that I have a best friend like Matt.

"That's the thing... Oh shit, shut up they are coming pretend that we didn't have that whole conversation okay? please?!?!" i know I can trust Matt but he can be a little bit clumsy with his words.

"Yup got it!" he beamed. As Alec, Luke, and Mason came up I realized that Matt and I still had our hands locked together. It seemed like everyone in our group noticed this as well. Alec looked a little.. hurt? No it couldn't be he doesn't like me that way anymore! Mason looked disappointed, though I am not sure why, and Luke basically saw and becoming his usual assy self said "If you two love birds don't unlock hands we will have to play a childish game of Red Rover, and let me tell ya, I DOMINATED at that game when I was young and could break you two apart like dropping glass on the floor." Well, that just happened, and it hurt a little.

Matt then realized my inability to speak and jumped to my rescue like the good bestfriend that he is and replied, "We are just friends douchebag." Matt and Luke never got along. This was because In the eighth grade Matt was going to ask Emma to the dance then Luke did it before when he knew Matt's intentions. She accepted for Luke and they "dated" until sophomore year in high school. When I say "dated I mean they were together after the dance in eighth grade then in freshman year he hooked up with half the girls in out grade behind Emma's back, took her virginity during the summer before sophomore year then broke up with her on the 2nd day of school. So when Luke turned around I high-fived Matt for calling him a douchebag, he deserved it but I still had a crush on him and I couldn't tell you why.

We decided to work in my basement so that I didn't have to bring all four boys into my room. the only boys that have ever been in my room before are Alec and Matt. When we were settled into my house we started on our first assignment for this project: getting to know each other. We had to have 5 facts that we did not know about each person on a piece of paper and show the teacher. The teacher wasn't going to read the 5 facts, but he was gonna make sure that everyone had their papers and each person on their list.We decided that we were gonna state 2 random facts about ourselves then get the other 3 out of a game of Truth and Dare. This is not going to go well but to hell with it. YOLO!

"I have 1 little sister, 1 older sister, and 1 older brother. My second fact is that my best guy friend is Alec and my best girl friend is Jess." Matt stated

Next it was my turn, "I have 1 older brother who I can tell everything to, and my favorite sport is softball by far."

Then it was Alec, "I have 1 little brother who I take care of and the friend that I miss the most is Jess." Alec looked at me and my cheeks automatically reddened. "But iif that get out to anybody besides the 4 of you guys one of you is getting murdered!" He threatened.

After Alec it was Luke. "I am an only child, and the only girls who I haven't taken home for a night are Audrey, and Jess." at first I didn't know what meant so I said, "I have spent the night at your house!" , when I figured out what he meant I shot daggers at him. "You have slept with every girl in put grade besides me and Audrey? really?!?!" We finally moved on after he chuckled in response.

It was finally Mason's turn. To be honest I was most excited to hear about Mason, because I know nothing about him. Matt elbowed me and I elbowed him right back saying I know now we get to learn about him through my elbow. he seemed to understand and our attention was on Mason again. When he spoke he had a deep voice and it made me like him even more. "I have a younger sister and I work at the animal shelter in town." that was not expected! He likes animals!!!! EEEEEK!!!! My crush on him has doubled since we started.

The game of truth or dare started and Alec picked me first, yipee! Note the sarcasm! "Why did you really throw yourself at me for that kiss this morning?" He asked with a smirk. God I wanted to smack that adorable smirk off his face, but at the same time I wanted to kiss him again.

"I already told you, I hate it when deals and bets are broken and if I had let you keep talking then you would have broken it off. Do I have to tell everyone about 3rd grade?" Now it was my time to smirk and his turn to let his face fall in fear and embarrassment. Next to me I head Matt chuckle. Only the three of us knew what happened in 3rd grade and I used against Alec as much as I possible could, and he hated it!

"NO! Okay I believe you!" he said and the conversation was turned back to the game. the game went on and on and on. We all had our 5 facts for everyone, but since it was Friday we decided to keep going just for fun. when Luke got a smirk I knew that whoever he was gonna pick was in trouble for some deep embarrassment. When he said my name I was scared for what he would ask for a truth so I picked dare,

"I dare you to reenact the kiss starting with pinning Alec up against the wall." He dared me.

I looked at Matt and thought oh this is gonna be harder than I thought!
