Album Release

It is 2023........

Jace and I are walking into Veronica Bozeman's Album release party to celebrate his first time producing the whole project. But a part of me also wonders how did he just get a hook-up so big and so fast. I won't ask tonight I want to just enjoy the night out and his first platinum award for the Album.  

Zuri's Outfit for the night 

The night was very warm and bright, a lot of industry people were in attendance. I thought this was also my opportunity to mix and mingle and add on to my many other connections that I have. Sadly, I was wrong because as soon as Jace and I got into the car; I caught the worst of it all. 

There was silence for at least 10 minutes

Jace: Why you always gotta embarrass ya self bruh like its ridiculous 

Zuri looks out the window

Zuri: what the hell are you talking about please don't forget the original plan that we made before we got into this lifestyle

Jace: which was -

Zuri: To help each other. Make sure if one didn't get it the other one got it connections and all

You have been so far up Veronika's ass that you cant see that my music and our relationship is suffering because of it 

Jace: Well maybe its time for us to rearrange some things including our agreement alright.

Zuri: thats fine .

Zuri dropped the conversation and they arrived home within the next 15 minutes to their studio apartment

Zuri sat next to the window and watched the rain come down and after 3 hours of doing exactly what Jace said.....which was to fix the agreement and make another plan.

Zuri decides to get up and take 2 suitcases to pack her stuff into along with 1,000 dollars that Jace stored in his shoebox for hard times. 

She wrote a note to Jace and placed the note on his production area, kissed his forehead while he was sleep, and she decided to walk out the door into the rain all the way to a bus stop.

Zuri POV

I used the money to get far away from New York and Jace. The feeling of not being appreciated and not valued took a toll on not only us but more so on me.  I used the money to go to a quiet place where it was just me and my songbook. 

I arrived in Sandiego finally by the coast. I met up with my two best friends Jaielle and Justin to chat about my new plans.  

Back in New York.....

Jace wakes up and calls Zuri only to find her cell phone by the door on the floor.  Jace walks over to his workspace and finds the note from Zuri and it reads:

Jace, 

these past few 4 years have been amazing. However the thought of you moving ahead from me hurts. You celebrated the accomplishment of getting an award without me  with another woman. I am unappreciated. So I'm gone!

In San Diego...

Justin: Zuri get your ass up we have to go and collect your life because I refuse to be stuck in the house.  I made an appointment for you to get your hair done and Tiffany is coming over to help you get you with wardrobe. Lets goooo

Justin pushes Zuri off the couch

Justin: this guy is not the end of the world, you need Jesus because apparently-----I----You.......

Justin: JUST GET YO ASS UP

He stomps away to his room and gets dressed

Zuri gets up from laying on the floor and grabs Jace's t-shirt, pictures, and his glass trophy that he won from an icon awards ceremony. Then she  proceeds to walk outside and she throws everything over the balcony, shattering the trophy.

Justin runs out of his room: What is going on with you in here? Are you okay? 

Zuri turns from the balcony and walks past Justin: I am now .. What time is Tiffany coming? I need to get dolled up lets go look for a house !
