Chapter Two
Hello my little muffins!! I have decided to update because many people, like myself, dislike reading books with very few parts. You get so sucked in and then it ends and you have to wait for the next update. So let's get on with things shall we!

Recap:
I breathed a breath of fresh air once I realized his necklace was different. He had a triangle with the same color gem. He stared wide eyed at mine too and we made eye contact and laughed. He checked me out and I drove to the cafe. As I parked the car I looked up and saw her date.
No way....

HE'S SUPER HOT! I'm so proud of my Shells. I looked at her and she threw her head back and laughed at whatever Brandon had said. She looked out the window and spotted me and I winked at her. I made my way inside and sat down in a booth that faced Shelby and Brandon. I opened my book and started reading glancing up every now and then to check on her. Eventually a waiter approached me and asked me what I wanted to order. I looked up at the girl. She was very pretty.
"What can I get you?"
"I'll just have a coke. Thanks."
I went back to reading my book and the waitress set my coke down.
"Would you like to order any food?" I thought about it and decided that I should eat something despite my sudden stomach ache.
"I'll have some chicken strips with fries please." She wrote down my order and proceeded to the next table. I looked up to check on Shelby and she seemed to be having fun. I watched as she threw her head back and laughed. I chuckled at her.
"So you're a stalker?" I jumped and whipped my head around to the mystery voice. It was a man. Brown hair with blackish tints. Big brown eyes with yellow streaks in them. He was tall. Maybe 6"2". He had a handsome face. A big smile was plastered on his face as I noticed his dimples.
"I am not a stalker. If anything, you are the stalker coming and scaring me." He chuckled. "Not a stalker? Then why do you keep looking at them?" I looked up to where he was pointing and he was pointing toward Shelby. She looked over at me and eyed me. She secretly touched her nose and her ear. She was asking if I was okay. We created little signals for moments like these. I touched my nose and twirled my hair around a finger telling her I was fine. "That is my best friend on a date. I'm making sure she is okay." I stated matter of factly. His face turned serious.
"You mean to tell me my mate is on a date with another man?" My eyes widened as my head snapped toward him and looked down. He indeed shared the same necklace but I couldn't tell if the gems were the exact match.
"I uh. I'll be right back." I looked at Shelby as I walked by and touched my nose and my eye. She waited for a minute and followed me to the bathroom.
"What's going on?" She asked. Oh did she have a surprise coming her way.
"What's going on is that man I was speaking too IS YOUR MATE!" She gasped and backed away. She shook her head in disbelief.
"Lumine, don't play with me. Are you sure?" I shook my head yes. She searched my eyes for any sign of playfulness. When she found none, she sighed. "Well I guess I better go introduce myself." I grabbed her arm before she walked away. "Shelby, you don't have to do this right now. Are you sure?" She started fidgeting with her necklace and looked up. I saw boldness shine in her eyes. "Yes i'm sure. I've waited for this moment."
