cuddles and kisses

charlie walked through the front door and into the kitchen where i was, and he immediately placed his hands on the counter either side of me.

"hi." i giggled as he looked at me as he wrapped his arms around my waist comfortably.

"how was your day?" he mumbled, kissing my jaw.

"it was alright, thank you." i said softly, "how was yours?"

"mm, 'twas okay, thanks." he mumbled with a smile, before pressing his lips to mine.

"um, can you just, um.." charlie started, a little nervously, as he picked me up and carried me into the living room.

"what, babe? it's alright." i smiled.

"can we just sorta cuddle and kiss all night?" he asked softly.

"of course." i smiled, and cuddled up to him on the sofa, his arms slipping around my waist, "i would love to." i leant up to press a kiss to his lips, before trailing gentle kisses down his neck.

"i love you."

"i love you too." i rested my head on his shoulder after pressing a kiss to his lips.
