4 - the gang

I got home and I was thinking at how Hunter is the leader of a gang. He was so young and I wonder if his family and parents knew.

I did contemplate on joining the gang, I do need some more allies I case I get attacked or kidnapped. It has happened before.

I walked up the stairs to my house and jumped in the shower. I got out and looked in the mirror. I turned around and looked at the scar that ran all across my back.

Flashback
' You little bitch how dare you disobey your father.' He shouted at me.
He picked up a knife and threw it at me. It went straight past my head luckily.  He tugged the knife out of the wall. I started to run but he was faster. He cut all down my back. I blacked out .

All I could see was white when I woke up. I was in a hospital and I couldn't remember why. I sat up but winced in pain. There was a scorching fire like pain on my back and it was unbearable.
To my left I saw my mother staring down at me.

At that moment I remember that my father did this to me.
And it wouldn't be the last time I saw him.

End flashback

I got dressed into my baggy clothes that hid my figure so no one would know it was me.
I went on my phone and called Hunter.
After three rings he picked up.
'This is Shadow, I'm calling about the gang offer. I was wondering if I joined what I would be doing and I was wondering if I could still wear my mask'
' you'd be fighting with us and maybe training the new recruits and sure but after a wile some people may start to not trust you because they don't know who you are'

'Ok, I think I'll take you up on the offer, where shall we meet.'
'Great, tomorrow night at the docks'
'Bye'.
I then hung up

I got dressed in to my pjs and went to sleep.

The next morning I woke up. It was a weekend so I didn't have to wake up early.

I had breakfast then went on my motorcycle and sped down to the gym.
I put on some wrap around my fists and started to punch the bag when Hunter came into the gym.
I tried to hide my face. Key word tried.
I started punching the bag when Hunter started to approach me.

' well if it isn't little miss nerd.'
'Hi mr telly tubby. I hope you won't be an asshole like yesterday'
'I'm not being an asshole I'm just appreciating how amazing I am.'
I rolled my eyes at his egotistical ways.
'Anyway what are you doing here. I didn't think the nerd went to the gym.'
'Yeh well it gets stuff off my mind like how annoying and irritating some people are'
He chuckled ' you mustn't be talking about me because I'm an angle.'
He batted his eyes to try and seem innocent. It failed, instead it looked like he had a bug in his eye and was trying to get it out by blinking.
After I had had enough of his senseless rambling, I walked to the ring .
Hunter followed 'What are you doing'
'I'm going to fight, so go away.'
'And who are you going to lose to'
'Well first I'm not going to lose,and I don't know,whoever gets in the ring first I suppose' I said looking around to see if there was any challengers. No one came up to fight me because I had already taught them before and they know what will happen to them.

Hunter got into the ring and slowly took off his leather jacket and put up his fists "I'll go easy on you cupcake".

Yeh like I'll need it.
