Chapter 22: Surgery

"She did recognise us but we messed up when we ditched her all of the sudden that's why she's acting like if we were strangers" suga explained

Shit seriously that boy just knows everything ..

My heart is still racing from the second she walked in the room

She's a doctor now .. She achieved her dream finally I thought smiling to myself

"Hey you need to get ready for the surgery they will be here in 3 minutes" Jimin snapped

"I'm scared" I said hugging my knees

"Dude that girl is really skilled .. you will be in good hands" suga said

"What if she tries to get revenge for not talking to her by killing me?" I asked him

"She has a reputation she wouldn't do that" Namjoon said

The door opened and the nurses took me to the operation room

I laid on the bed then saw Y/N coming in waring that blue coat and face mask and white hand gloves

She put an oxygen mask on my face then took out a needle with a medicine in it

"What's that ?" I asked her

"Anesthesia.." she replied coldly

"Y/N ? ..."

Y/N POV

I grabbed the anesthesia needle when jungkook asked me

"What is that ?" He said pointing to the needle

"Anesthesia.." I replied coldly but I could tell he was afraid and my heart was racing really fast but .. at work we put emotions aside in order to work properly

He then cut off my thoughts

"Y/N ...?" He said

"Hmm" I hummed in response

"Will I be okey ?" He asked tears forming in his eyes

"You will be perfectly fine sir" I replied in a formal way which made him a little upset

Jungkook POV

Why is she so formal with me ? She called me sir .. what happened to her .. is she gonna ignore us forever now?  A to of thought came across my mind but soon I started to feel sleepy and dizzy I then new that she injected the anesthesia .. the last thing I remember is looking at her

Y/N POV

We started the surgery and it was so hard to perform. . It took so long and it took a lot of effort but I finally made it and removed the whole tumor .. It wasn't that dangerous so there is absolutely no danger on his life .. not now not ever .. I sighed in relief as I made my way out of the room while the staff got jungkook ready to take him to his room

I found the boys waiting nervously outside the operation room .. They rushed to me as soon as I got out

"Is he okey ?" Jimin asked

"What happened to him?" Taehyung added

"How bad is it ?" Hoseok popped out between the two

"Relax .. Your friend is perfectly fine .. We managed to take the tumor off and I assure you he's 100% fine now .. We need to keep him here for another 24 hours to make sure everything is okey .. you may see him when he wakes up .. excuse me now " I said

I was about to walk off when I felt a grip on my wrist .. I turned around and it was jimin 

"Wait .. " he said

"Yes sir ?" I said formally

"Don't call me that Y/N" he said as all of the boys surrounded me

"We need to talk Y/N" said Namjoon grabbing my arm

"Well I need to go and clean up then I'll go rest at home .. the surgery was tiring .. can we do this later?" I said coldly

"When?" Suga asked

"Tomorrow when I come to check on your friend's condition" I said

"Okey then we'll wait for you in his room " Jin said smiling at me

"You may let go now sir" I said looking blankly at Jimin

"DO NOT call me sir " he said tightening his grip but soon let go when I hissed in pain

"I-I'm sorry..." he stuttered

"No problem.. good night " I rushed off as I feel their eyes on me

I arrived home took a shower and went to bed not even thinking about the boys and jungkook I was so tired

Jungkook POV

I woke up again in the same room I was in earlier ..what happened ? Did the surgery pass well ? Am I okey ?

"Yah kookie you're up" Jin rushed over to me

"Yeah .. what happened ? Did the surgery go well ?" I asked

They all nodded with a big grin on their faces

"It went perfectly fine and you're now 100% safe" Namjoon said smiling

"Oh .. Y/N saved my life huh?" I said smiling at myself .. i'm so thankful to her now .. I owe her my life

"I told you she was good" suga said

Then it suddenly hit me

"Wait .. Where's she ?" I looked at jimin

"She went home she was tired after the surgery" he answered

"Well .. is she gonna comeback ?" I asked again

"Tomorrow .. to check on you" Hoseok said

"We need to explain why we lost contact with her" I said and they nodded

"We told her that we needed to talk to her and she said she'll talk tomorrow" Suga said

I nodded my head as a response

"We need to thank her .. If it weren't for her you would still be in pain waiting for your death" Jin said holding my shoulder

"Yeah I sure will thank her.. but..." I said when a memory hit my head

"What ?" Namjoon asked

"Before the surgery. . She .. She called me 'sir' " I said looking at them

"Yeah she keeps calling us that like if she doesn't know us" Jimin chimed

"I doubt she's gonna forgive us for giving up on her" suga sighed then continued " I mean we literally got her out of our lives for 7 years how do you expect her to be the same old Y/N with us .. She must be hurt "

We nodded our head as a sign of agreement then Hoseok broke silence
"Y/N has the kindest heart ever I think she will understand and forgive us ..after all she did save your life while she had the choice not to"

"Yeah she did" I said lowering my head playing with my fingers

I laid back on the bed to get some sleep since I was really sleepy maybe because of the pain killers they gave me earlier then I drifted off

I kept thinking about Y/N ... how beautiful she turned and how my heart was beating fast and butterflies olaying in my stomach when I saw her again .. then it hit me

I still love her

Does she still love me ?
