Mikas pov
Today was my big premeir at the aquarium. I started working at the "real mermaid resort" because of my passion for water. My tail was a beautiful lavander color. It had a metalic shimmer to it so it looks more bright underwater.
The best part is my fiance will be there to watch me. Hes never accualy got to see me do my job before, so im kind of nervous.

Sam-are you excited about this?

He said as he put his hands around my hips. I turned around with a smile and kissed him on his soft lips.

Mika-how can i not be! Youre going to see me.
Sam-I know im just as excited as you are.

I quickly packed my tail and bikini and makeup. I rushed to my car.

Sam-i'll see you there!

I started the engine and pulled out of  the driveway of our mansion.
As i drove to the aquarium i began to feel anxious. When i got to the door ericks wife greeted be, she was a mermaid too. Me and iredesa were the two who could hold our breath the longest. 9.36Sec to be exact . We would be preforming together.
We got to the dressing room and changed into our bekinis and we put our tails on. I was better at doing makeup, so i was the one who usualy put it on. I had lavander eyeshadow and pink lips and mascara on.

Mika- boy am i glad they give us waterproof makeup.
Iredesa-Agreed, i can only imagine what we would look like underwater.

We both giggled at the thought.
When we were done we called the gaurds to help us to the plank. Two came in and picked us up since we cant walk in our  mermaid tails. They sat us down near the water. I looked into the huge tank, at leat 1/2 a mile long. Filled,with real coral and other fish and other creatures. I could almost see the crowd. I could see sam and erik but they couldnt see us yet.

Announcer-Now you all now about them but we all know that you must see to beleive. Feast your eyes on our very own Mermaids.

At the cue me and iredesa took deep breathes and hopped into the water. Our tails were alot lighter underwater. As the salt water bubbled slightly on my skin i quickly made my way toward the glass where sam was.
When he finally saw me his eyes lit up in excitment and surprise i blew bubble kisses to everyone and waved. Me and iredessa began to swim around eachother throughing little neon lights around that blew up colirs around us as we swam back up ir air. we both took a big gulp and dived back in. I dont know why but ive always felt safe in the water. Me and iredessa began to do mire tricks and stunts for the folks and for me and iressesas fiances.

2Hours later

I was sore my body hurt but it was worth it. i cleaned my makeup off of me and got back into regualr clothing. I said goodbye to iredessa and left the building.
Sam was waiting by the car for me with a smile on his face. When i got to him he gave me a hug.

Mika-oww
Sam-are you ok?
Mika-yeah hust a little sore.

He then glossed his emerald green eyes to gold and took the pain away.(p.s. sam and his brothers are all incubi ex princes from the demon world)

Mika-thankyou
Sam-No problem doofus.

On the car ride home he drive and kept complamenting me on how good i looked and how amazing i did.

When we got home the soreness was still there so i took some pain pills.Sam walked in and watched.

Sam-is the pain that bad

It took me a moment to cath my breath. My chest hurt for holding it so long at a time. My back and legs ached and cramped up.

Mika-yeah it does

Sam helped me to the bed and layed me down. He lay down next to and i cuddled in his warm embrace. He smiled at the gesture, and put hus arms around my body to keep me safe and warm.

Sam- goodnight doofas
Mika-goodnight sam i love you
Sam-i love you too.
