I close my eyes, trying to think back over what I've learned today. The boys' boarding is to the left of the school, this is an all girls school and the boys seem to be staying here due to some sort of renovation in their dorms. That's all I got, in a whole day. Geez, that's weak. I need to be getting information faster, and information that's relevant, because at this rate I'll be here till I'm old and grey. I'm still no closer to understanding my assignment either, on top of which I have been given a load of pointless homework. Ugh, this is such a waste of my time! I roll over and try my best to think of what Harry could have meant during the briefing. May be sending information about his empire to others. What in the deuce could that mean? I guess I should dissect the sentence. Information; that depends on what the 'empire' is really. So, what could this empire be? Clearly it's his business, there's not anything else to which Harry would refer to as an empire. But then that leads me back to the point that he can share information about his business as he pleases, after all it is his. "Gah." I exclaim, kicking the tree in front of me in frustration. "Harry you suck." I conclude, sinking back to the base of the tree. This is actually quite a nice thinking spot, especially in the darkness. It's quite calm and quiet, well apart from the occasional cricket. It's soothing, making it good for me because I can therefore concentrate. I hear footsteps and tense up, who the heck would be out here at this time of night? Apart from the new girl slash spy (aka me) I can't think of anyone who'd be daring enough to break the rules and be out at night. "So who's Harry?" I hear a familiar (and completely unwelcome) voice.

"Does it really matter?"

"Yeah it does."

"What are you even doing out so late?" I question.

"I could ask you the same question but seeing as I've already asked you one I guess you should answer that first." he reasons, taking a seat next to me.

"You're annoying pukey."

"Am I now?"

"Very much so."

"You didn't answer my question."

"I don't intend to."

"Is he your boyfriend?" he asks me carefully, causing me to splutter.

"My boyfriend?" I ask, glancing at him with my eyebrows raised.

"Well… I dunno, I thought-"

"You seriously think that I have a boyfriend?"

"You could do, why wouldn't you?" he asks, getting all defensive.

"Because… "

"Despite your lack of allure there may be some sod out there who felt sorry enough for you to want to be with you."

"No, not quite sorry enough." I reply with a disgusted face.

"So you like him then?" he continues to probe.

"I don't see how this is any of your business." I reply curtly. Maybe I could use this to my advantage. Don't girls always pretend to like other guys to make guys interested in them or something? To be honest the only source of information I have is Steph and her obsession with chick flicks. An obsession I don't share.

"I was merely curious."

"Well curiosity killed the cat, you want to watch out."

"Good thing I'm not a cat then, isn't it?" he replies with a cheeky grin plastered on his face.

"I still don't see how it's any of your business."

"You are my partner for the year, we should know things about each other."
