They stood in the highest room, of the highest tower, in their castle. It was her lab; bottles and liquids glimmering in the dying light. He smirked; glaring out the window with and arm around her shoulders. She clung to him with the same wicked glint in her eye. Her fist slipped into her pocket to retrieve the dust. She opened her palm, and blew the dust through the window. Green smoke took flight; it slunk towards the perimeter of the castle. The smoke circled its way around before seeping into the soil. Gnarly thorns sprouted from the dirt, creating an impenetrable wall. She smiled up to him before skipping towards the door. He maintained his smug look as he followed her. They walked from the highest to the lowest point in the castle. She giggled, putting a finger to her lips as she opened the locked door. Dark. Cold. A rattle of chains. She snapped, a flame lit the tip of her index finger, which she used to light a candle. A figure became more clear. An exhausted looking man chained to the wall. He was sweaty, with a gag tied around his mouth. He looked up lazily—
And screamed.
