Chapter 8

Warning: a bit of angst.

Namjoon and I walked through the woods, slowly making our way towards the house. Sure we could get there quicker if we ran but to be honest we are afraid of Jin and it's nice to talk sometimes, so that's what we did.

"So you go underground and surround yourself with humans..." I say still trying to wrap my head around what the hell happened last night.
"Yes." Namjoon started bluntly.
"Why?" I asked just full of curiosity.
"It's fun... I met Yoongi at school and he taught me about music, rapping and producing and now I find it's a passion of mine." I could see how happy he was just talking about music let alone how he looked performing. A passion of his seems like an understatement to me. "If you tell Jin I will murder you." Namjoon finished.
"Not if he gets to you first" We both start laughing.

"Saw you eyeing that JK kid, and he seemed very comfortable around you at breakfast," Namjoon said giving me a wink and started laughing while I felt my cheeks go completely red.

We mostly gossiped, to be honest, and talked about my maybe crush on Jungkook and how I totally didn't get fucked last night! not possible! AND if we did I totally topped! 

We got home eventually and tried sneaking in but Jin was waiting in the lounge room for us. "How was hunting?" Jin asked us looking mostly at Namjoon, only sending a glance to me once or twice. "It was great! I never knew Appa was that good but I need to go to bed so night!" I said trying to get out of this tension... 

I walk up the stairs to my room only to see Jimin sitting at the end of my bed. "We need to fucking talk!" Jimin said with a fair bit of annoyance in his tone. "What about?" I asked not knowing at all what was going on.
"Taehyung. you know I love you and you are like my little brother but- Jesus fucking Christ!" he yelled and I saw tears start to form in his eyes.
"Do you mind telling me what I did?" I asked confused and worried, taking a step closer to him.
"Y-you w-w-weren't th-th-there..." Jimin said as the tears he was fighting against came down like a waterfall. I run to him and hold him tight. "I-I-I I did it.....again." There was a big pause... "Jimin... I'm so sorry..."

Jimin wouldn't eat before I came... He was addicted to losing weight and his self-esteem was so so low. He ended up not eating and when he did he would through it up quickly. I was always there for him... slowly we got him back to a 'normal' but he is still far from fully recovered... he is still very fragile and a little thing like me not being there to help him makes him do it again... I know he hates himself for it and it always hurt to see him like this. I can't believe I left him...

"I'm so so sorry Jimin..." I say over and over as I hug him tightly and Jimin cries loudly into my shoulder. "I'm sorry I'm sorry...I'm fucked up... I'm sorry you have to deal with me like this..." Jimin cries out and my chest goes tight. I separate us from the hug and check him all over for... for cuts... 

I feel warm tears fall down my cheeks as I see the red marks on Jimin's small wrist. Jimin pulls his hand away and I just feel like such a failure. We sit there in our tears and when we finally stopped crying together and we talked. about what happened to Jimin what I was doing, he promised to keep it a secret from Jin. Namjoon and Jin don't know about Jimin and what goes on with him. I can tell he is ashamed of it, but we have been open about everything towards each other no matter what.
I feel like such shit now.

AN:

So vampires do need sleep. they get hurt like normal humans but don't die unless you stab through the heart and they use sleep to heal wounds and digest human food otherwise if they don't sleep they will likely die if they were badly injured or if they have eaten human food during the day.

Also just want to say, Jimin is at a very vulnerable state with his vampire form of anorexia and Taehyung is the only one who knows about it but other than that Jimin is quite an independent character. He is not a damsel in distress, he his much more complex than that.

Does anyone want a chapter that just explains what a vamp needs to survive etc? like I have been going through these in author's notes but maybe you guys don't like that? idk, just an alternative if you care.
