I gasped as he took my hand and led me through the crowd.
The rooms were dark, save for the disco lights and lasers bouncing around the dancing people.
Many of them fell into me, probably because they were tipsy or got shoved, it didn't matter, but they acted like they ripped out my lungs or something. I was used to that frightened look though.
Cole led me to a bar with green lights behind it on the other side of the dance floor.
"Do you drink?" He asked me.
I thought back to all the times my doctor had said alcohol was not good for the blood stream and I knew that since I was 19 I should not be drinking anyway.
So I said yes.
We walked over to the opposite end of the bar and he asked for two drinks I could not hear the names of. I still didn't hesitate when he handed one to me. They looked identical so if I went down he was going with me.
"So Olivia, what is knew with you?" He asked moving his stool closer so he could hear me over the music.
" Same old, haven't been able to go to college yet, or anywhere for that matter. What about you? You disappeared and everyone thought you ran away." I said unable to contain the curiosity biting at my mind.
"Well, I dropped out of high school a few weeks before I was kicked out of my house for... well... doesn't matter. I left everything behind and the thing I feel worst about leaving,Is you".
