Elizabeth Heart is a Barrel Racer. She started with her twin brother Sam when they were 10. By the time they were 16 they were some of the best in Rodeo. Sam was a world champion bullrider and Roper for the boys, Elizabeth was the champion Barrel Raacer, Pole Bender and Roper for the girls. One day Sam goes to his friends to practice on some bulls, something happens and he gets killed. Elizabeth breaks down and stops riding. 2 Years pass and she still has not done what she loves, once she starts again her parents hire a barn helper, Andrew Wilks.
