I'm Mason Blake. I am an unfortunate member of this bunker. There are 30 bunkers all together scattered around the nation. My location is Detroit, Michigan. There are 4 bunkers all together in Detroit. 8, 28, 9, 29.
The reason for the bunkers is the chemical warfare that we created. It all started with us getting into something we didn't need to be in. We got into the middle of Iraq's civil war and they didn't like it. The hate for U.S spread across the globe. France, Russia, Korea though the still hated us, Germany, Israel, and more.
They all ganged up on us and formed a whole army just to rid us. I guess the government choked because we sat and got bombed many times. After a month of doing nothing, the Commander in Chief took an action nobody expected. Chemical Warfare.
He got the country's top scientists to help create the ultimate bomb. They called it The MED Project, Mechanically Engineered Diseases. Holding the contents of this ultra bomb makes you the deadliest person on the planet..so I've been told. Nobody outside of the government knows about what's in it, and quite frankly we don't want to know.
Whatever is in that hellish bomb is killing us all slowly. Day by day the number of dead bodies pile up. The bodies of the regulars, that is. Some people are actually immune to the chemicals. The government takes those people to fight in the war. Most peoe don't want to die being shot at for some reason so they pretend to be sick. I don't see why. It's a lot faster than wasting away to a rotten corpse in here.
I am actually immune to the chemicals but I suffer a traumatic experice watching my loved ones die. Being 15 with no family is tough. Especially when you're locked in the country's most dangerous bunker. I wouldn't make it in the war. Those bastards are nuts.
Whether you're immune or a regular, there's no safety from anything.
