ZAYN:

I've been pacing around the length of the living room trying to figure out what I was going to say to Madison and how exactly I was going to say it. Today was the last day of our contract agreement, and I was grateful. My phone buzzed in my hand and a message flashed across it telling me that the guards let Madison past the gates. Any minute now I'd be getting a knock on the door, or she'd ring the buzzer. We just and see.

I was standing a few feet away from the door, staring at it intently. Then I saw a shadow stop in front of it, and she opted for the buzzer. "Zayn. It's Madison." I made my way over to the door; and pulled it open. Without a moments hesitation she threw her arms around me. "I missed you! How was New York? I got a call from Scooter and he told me I'm number sixteen on itunes." she squealed. I rubbed the back of my neck. Madison kissed my cheek, so close to my lips, and let her arms linger around my neck.

I gently pulled them off of me, "let's talk." I led her into the living area, and she kicked off her flip flops making herself comfortable on the plush sofa. I sat beside her, but a few inches away. "What do you want to talk about?" she asked optimistically.

"What-" I tried to find the words. "What exactly do you think you and I are?" Madison narrowed her green eyes.

"To me I think we're a little more than friends, but...." I can tell she was reading the expression on my face. "To you I'm just something to pass the time." Well, would you look at that she took the words right out of my mouth. I slowly nodded, and Madison let out a sigh. "I knew it. I kind of always knew, and I didn't mind. When you were in Florida, you saw Lauren?"

"Yeah."

"And she made you realize that you still want her?" Madison questioned. I nodded again. "Well Zayn, despite what the media says, I not a homewrecker. So I will sadly, but gladly step aside."

"Thank you Madison." she smiled, but I can tell she was disappointed.

I held my arms out to give her a comforting hug, and she happily obliged. After a moment of embrace, she stood up and grabbed her bag from beside her. "I guess I'd better get going," she walked toward the door, and I followed her. I pulled the door open for her, and she lingered. Madison turned around after being frozen in place for a few seconds. "It was a pleasure doing buisness with you." I shook the hand that she had held out toward me. "I'm sure we'll run into each other again.. but until then, best of luck in all you do."

"Same to you Madison," she smiled, and I waited until she was in her car to shut the door.

When I shut the door Niall and Harry were standing there with sly smiles on their face. "So what happened? Did you cut things off?" Harry questioned.

"Did she cry?" Niall asked.

"I did cut things off, but no, she didn't cry, and I'm very happy about that." Niall and Harry began hollering and clapping. "Alright, that's off your to-do list. You know what's next," Harry smirked. Get Lauren back.

LAUREN:

I'd been pacing back and fourth in my backyard for an hour. My phone was grasped tightly in my hand with Zayn's contact up. All I had to do was press call, but I didn't know what I was going to say, and if I did, I didn't know how it'd come out.

"Did you do it?" I turned around and saw Ally walking out of my house with Camila by her side. "How'd you guys get inside of my house?" I asked, still trying to calm down from the scare they just gave me. "You do know you aren't the only person who lives here, right?" Camila laughed. She then pointed to my phone. "Have you made any progress?" I looked down at my phone, and then sighed sitting by the pool. "No." I shook my head. The girls sat on beside me, replicating me and dipping their feet into the water.

    "Why not?" Ally asked.

"Yeah, why not?" Camila chimed in.

"Because I'm scared," I admitted.

"Scared?" the twosome questioned.

"Scared of what? Zayn isn't some monster who's going to crawl through your phone," Camila laughed. I made a face at her.

"Not that kind of scared Camz. I'm like, I don't know... nervous scared." Ally placed her hand over her heart. "That is the cutest thing ever.

"Call him." Camila demanded. I shook my head, and then Ally snatched my phone out of my hands. "Oh look, his contacts already up!" Camila said.

"Give it back," I reached for my phone, but Ally kept pulling her arm away, and Camila was between us, pushing me away when I'd get close. After a few seconds I relaxed, realizing Ally was the sweet one. She wouldn't dare call him. Suddenly, the phone was on speaker, and I could hear a phone ringing. My eyes widened and I turned to Ally. Camila was trying to keep her laughter locked away by slapping her hand over her mouth. "Ally hang up!" I panicked.

"Lauren?" The confusion in his accent made my heart stop for a second. "Hello? Lauren?"

"She likely ass dialed you." I heard Louis in the backround.

"Hello... Lauren? Anybody there?" Camila snatched the phone from Ally and handed it to me. I held it with a trembling hand. "Hi," I managed to say.

"You called me...." Zayn sounded surprised. Camila was gesturing for me to say more. "Yeah, I called you. Um, I wanted to talk to you about something, but I don't really know how to say it, if that makes any sense at all..?" Ally gave me a thumbs up, even though I knew I was doing horrible.

I stood up, and starting doing my nervous pacing again. I was also hoping to have some privacy, but of course Camila and Ally trailed my every move like leeches. "Yeah of course, you can talk to me about anything. I was actually hoping to uh, talk with you as well. I've been wanting to tell you something for a bit now, and I finally can."

"Really? You can tell me now,"

"I was actually hoping I can tell you in person." my heart started racing again.

"In person," I repeated to myself. "When can this happen?"

"When are you free?" he questioned.

"Well, I don't work anymore; so I guess everyday."

"Do you think I can fly you out to LA if you'd like?" I turned to Camila and Ally who were silently squealing.

"When?"

"I can get you a flight tomorrow morning if it'd be okay with you? I can send out our jet." Camila nearly fell over, and Ally was swooning.

********

"I never want a boyfriend. I don't understand this whole make up break up thing." Taylor said; as I stood in the living room asking permissiom to depart to LA. "You will one day, it's this crazy little thing called love." I said. My mom nodded. "Ever heard that saying, sometimes things have to fall apart to fall together?" she said. Taylor nodded, but I can tell she still didn't understand, and my dad looked grateful for that. "Who's going with you?"

"Well, Dinah has to babysit, and Mani went out of town, and Camila can only come because Ally's coming," I explained.

"Do the boys know they'll be housing all of these people?" I nodded at my mothers question.

"Take your brother and you can go," my dad said. I looked at Chris who had a smirk on his face. "Why?"

"Yeah, why? Why not me?" Taylor complained.

"You're still young." my mom reassured her.

"He's there to look out for you," my dad said.

"To look out for me? I'm older then him. I can look out for myself, nothings going to happ-" my dad held his hand up to silence me.

"Don't argue or you won't go." I glared at Chris, and then sighed defeated. "Fine, Chris you can come."
