    Hi I'm Kayla Matthews, and I'm the new girl at Forks Highschool in Washington. I had moved there to get away from my family. I have a lot of money and stuff in my backpack. I'm very pretty actually. I have long silver hair that curls and goes down to my waist, I'm 5'11, icy blue eyes, a very fit body, and a great sense of style. Oh and I forgot something. I'm a vampire.

   I have been a vampire for  over 300 years. Some vampires have powers or gifts. I have one  gift. I'm a magnet for other powers. If I'm in range I immediately get it. So far I have over a lot of powers. I have just moved in to a small apartment and tomorrow I'm going to start highschool as a junior.

    I decide to go hunt and run out to the forest. I let my senses take over and grab 3 elk and a mountain lion. I sniffed the air and smell another vampire. I hop up to a tree and mask my scent so it doesn't smell anything. I look down and see a gorgeous blonde male vampire. His eyes are golden like mine should be. He sniffs the air and then runs away. I sigh in relief and hop down.

     I look at my watch and notice it's almost six. I run home and change in to black skinny jeans, a red tank top, black  leather boots, light makeup and my red backpack. I get in to silver Camaro and speed to school. People always tell me I drive fast. I guess it's because of my vampire speed. I make my scent human and get out. The first thing I notice is I have there more powers. I look around and notice 5 beautiful people. Or vampires I should say.

    I dive in to there minds and figure out there names. I don't have to dig deep to find out that the blonde chick is Rosalie, the blonde male is Jasper, the bronze haired boy is Edward, the little pixie like ones is Alice, and the big one is Emmett. And they all have the last name Cullen, but that isn't the strange thing is that the people who think there with there mates aren't. There meant for someone else. I shrug it off and walk to the office. I can feel the emotions and there kinda weird the boys lust and the girls are jealous.

  " Hello ma'am may have my schedule?" She looks up at me and replies.

"Name?" I smile and dazzle her." Kayla Matthews." She looks up and as smiles.

" Ah miss Matthews." She hands me my schedule and a map and nods.

I look at the schedule and smile.

1st: English Mr. Johnson

2nd: Algebra Mrs. Carter

Lunch

3rd: Biology Mr. Banner

4th: Gym Mr. Goldman

5th: HistoryMs. Darbus

6th Free period

I smile as I make my way to English. The class passes by quickly. I walk to algebra were she asks me to introduce myself. I sigh and get up

" Hi I'm Kayla. I like music, shopping, music, and reading." I walk back to my desk and just my luck it's next to the pixie Alice. She looks over at me and smiles. I smile back as to not seem rude when she passes me a note.

You like shopping?

I love it. I hear her squeal and I look at the note one more time.

Wanna go shopping after school? I smile and nod. She smiles at me and smiles. Classes soon pass by in a blur. Then it was lunch.
