Chapter 2: Meeting New Friends (AKA Autobots)

It's been a weird week for Team Prime, having a new member in the team that resembles a Vehicon that is a triple-changer that has childish demeanor is crazy enough. The Team did not accept Caboose at first, but they soon accepted him and they did get along, including the children. Everything seems peaceful...Until...

*CRASH*

Until the same Blue idiot, destroyed Ratchet's equipment by 'Accident'

"CABOOSE! I NEEDED THAT!!!"

"Sorry, Hatchet!" Caboose apologized, but also saying his name incorrectly.

"It's Ratchet, NOT Hatchet" Ratchet shouted with annoyance, while Bulkhead, Miko and Bumblebee were laughing in the background of display while Arcee, Jack and Raf were just chuckling and Optimus has a small smile on his face.

'Sweet Primus! This Mech is worse than Bulkhead!' Ratchet said in his thoughts as he pinch the ridged of his nose (even though he doesn't have one).

"...it wasn't my fault..." Caboose lied.

"Oh really!? Then who did it?!" Ratchet asked skeptically despite knowing it was Caboose who did it.

"...Bullhead did it..." Cabooses said

"Hey!" Bulkhead retorts while laughing

Ratchet sighs 'Idiots these days!' Ratchet said in his mind, trying his hardest not to face palm.

~Flashback: A week ago before Caboose joins the Autobots~
Location: Autobot Base Omega

After Optimus request for a Groundbridge, the Autobots, Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Arcee feels a bit anxious on meeting their new member. As the Groundbridge opens Optimus and Bulkhead comes in view, they let out a sigh relief. But as Caboose appeared in view behind, Arcee and Bumblebee activated their blasters and aims them at Caboose while Ratchet gets in a fighting position.

"Friends, there's no need to be alarmed, our new member has no ill intentions against us...." he said calmly.

"But...Optimus! It's a Con!" Arcee retorted with her blasters still aimed at Caboose.

"There's no need of hostility, he is not apart of the Decepticon cause." Optimus said.

"But its a Vehicon!" Bumblebee said through his beeps.

"I can assure you, that our new member has no-" his voice trails off as he notice Caboose is looking at his surroundings.

"This...place...is AWESOME!...awesome...awesome..." Caboose says as he mimics the echo. As the Autobots, except Optimus and Bulkhead, looks a bit dumbfounded by Caboose's childish and the fact he sound strikingly similar to a child or sparkling.

"...awesome...awesome...awesome..."

"Ahem..." Optimus interrupts him catching his attention.

Caboose stops and looks at Optimus. "Hello!" He said happily and again, the three bots are still surprise by his attitude.

Optimus then turns his attention to the three Autobots. "Everyone, this is our new member of our team." Optimus announces as he glances at Caboose "Please introduce yourself." Optimus said calmly

"Okay!" Caboose said as he looks at his new future teammates "Hello! My name is Caboose!" He said happy with a happy tone.

'What kind of creator names their sparkling Caboose?' Ratchet thought.

"Caboose, these are our members. Our Medic, Ratchet" he gestures to Ratchet. "Our two scouts, Arcee and Bumblebee." He gestures to them. "...and Bulkhead, our soldier." He finishes.

"Hi, Arcee! Hi Humblebee! Hi Bullhead! Hi Hatchet! It's nice to meet you!" He said as the Autobots, except Optimus and Bulkhead(who is chuckling at the mispronunciation of their names.) looks dumbfounded by his mispronunciation.

"Caboose, their names are Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Ratchet." Optimus corrects him.

"Oh okay, Octopus Prime!" He said happily.

Bulkhead continues to snicker at his pronunciation while the three bots are dumbfounded by his stupidity.

"...do you have a malfunction?" Ratchet asked.

"What? I don't have a Mall-funk-action" He said.

Ratchet resisted the urge to face palm at his stupidity while Bumblebee is snickering along with Bulkhead. While Arcee looks at Caboose with suspicion, and notices something different about him.

"Are you a triple-changer?" Arcee asked as Ratchet and Bumblebee also notice the fact that the Vehicon is a mixture of a Flyer and ground based on the wings and the turret behind him.

"...I don't know what you said, but I'm going to nod and yes..." there was a short pause "...yes..." he said.

"Caboose is indeed a triple changer, he doesn't remember why he is there. He claims that a bright light flash appeared infront of him. It must have transported him here." Optimus added.

"...yeah...I thought I was in heaven." Caboose added.

"In the meantime. Arcee, I want you to help Caboose getting a better look of his surroundings."

"But Optimus-..."

"I understand that you don't trust Caboose, but you need to gain his trust."

"Is Pretty Lady, going to be my friend?" Caboose asked

"E-excuse me?!" Arcee said and blushed a bit when Caboose called her 'Pretty lady'.

"Yes, Arcee will show you around the base." Optimus said

"Yay! New friend!" Caboose yelled out with excitement as he raises his hands in emphasis.

"Fine, come and follow me." Arcee sighs as she starts to show Caboose around the base.

"Yay! This is a start of a new friendship!"

'Primus, this will be a long day' Arcee thoughts

Through out the entire day, Caboose becomes a customed to his new surroundings including. He also meets Jack, Raf and Miko, and he met Agent Fowler, who mistakenly called him 'Agent Flower' which cause Bulkhead, Bumblebee and the kids to laugh at the mispronunciation while Ratchet snorted  and Arcee chuckled a bit and Optimus didn't show any reaction.

Needless to say, it's weird day for Autobots.
