I was sitting in the back seat looking at Dad journal wanting to read it until Sam jerks awake from his seat probably another nightmare

"You okay?" Dean ask

"Yeah, I'm fine." Sam says

"Another nightmare?" I chirped in

"You wanna drive for a while?" Dean ask Sam I stare in shock

"Dean, your whole life you never once asked anyone that." I say

"Just thought he might want to. Never mind." Dean starts but doesn't finish

"Look, man, you're worried about me. I get it, and thank you, but I'm perfectly okay." Sam says

"That's what they all say" I say

"All right, where are we?" Sam says completely ignoring what I said

"Maybe we shouldn't have left Stanford so soon." Sam says

"Sam, we dug around there for a week. We came up with nothing. If you wanna find the thing that killed Jessica" I say

"We gotta find Dad first." Sam says

"Whatever Sam your the boss" I say sarcastically he turns around and glares at me

"You know you've been acting strange ever since Jessica died do you know something" he asked and I jumped out of my seat

"Enough Sammy she doesn't know." Dean snaps

"Alright I was just asking." Sam says then looks forward

"Anyway, These coordinates he left us. There's nothing there. It's just woods." I say looking at the map

"Why is he sending us to the middle of nowhere?" Sam ask and I shrugged. I looked out and saw a sign that said Welcome to LOST CREEK COLORADO National Forest. Oh boy

We walking around looking for anything Dean and Sam were bickering I zoned out of that until a ranger came to us

"You people aren't planning on going out near Blackwater Ridge by any chance?" The ranger says

"Oh, no, sir, we're environmental study majors from UC Boulder, just working on a paper." I say

"Recycle, man." Dean says and I smack his head

"You're friends with that Haley girl, right?" The ranger ask

"Yes. Yes, we are, Ranger Wilkinson." I say

"Well I will tell you exactly what we told her. Her brother filled out a backcountry permit saying he wouldn't be back from Blackwater until the twenty-fourth, so it's not exactly a missing persons now, is it?" The ranger ask. I shake my head

"You tell that girl to quit worrying, I'm sure her brother's just fine." Ranger Wilkinson

"We will. Well that Haley girl's quite a pistol, huh?" Dean says

"That is putting it mildly." Ranger Wilkinson says

"Actually you know what would help is if I could show her a copy of that backcountry permit. You know, so she could see her brother's return date." Sam ask

We were at the Rangers station I stayed in the car thinking of what happen with Jessica. Was it my fault  I didn't  told them. Until I was brought out of my own thoughts and I saw Sam and Dean get in

"You alright Kate." Dean ask. I nodded

"Just peachy." I mumbled so they don't hear me and we drove off
