"Mama" I heard Emma as I saw her walking towards me, "Hi sweetie" I said picking her up and putting her on her hip. Its been 2 years since she left Mystic falls, her mom kept her up to date what happened while she was gone. "Anyone home?" I heard Hunter as I smile, "in the kitchen" I called out seeing my friend enter. I met Hunter the second day in town, he is a human who knows what I am after a year being friends.
"Just got out of work?" I ask while putting Emma in her high chair, "yeah Mrs. Brown said hi" he said as I take out a bowl and put some cut bananas and strawberries. I put it in front of her, "maybe I will stop by tomorrow" I told him, "yeah she will be happy to see you both" he said with a smile.
The rest of the day we spent the time eating and watching a movie, "Bye" I said letting Hunter out while Emma is asleep in my arms. Closing the door, I move upstairs to Emma's room and carefully lays her down. "Sweet dreams sweetie" I whisper kissing her head and covering Emma, I slowly close to the door leaving it a bit open.
