Chapter 9

Yuna's POV

*riinngggg*

I heard my phone ringing as I was walking at the park. I picked up my phone to see it was Jungkook calling.

"Hello?"

"Yuna, we have a mission to go to."

"What?? In early daylight??"

"Yes... some people just don't care to do crime in pure daylight.."

"Ah, you're right. Where are we meeting at?"

"We'll meet at the hideout. I'm heading there now."

"Okay. I'll see you then."

I ran out of the park and got into my car and got dressed..(yes, I keep my outfit in my car. Because what happens if I'm too far away from my apartment...).

After I got dressed, I sped all the way to the hideout. When I got there, Jungkook was the same as always and he had some weapons on him. Of course I did too. Our boss was instructing us on where to find the target specifically and how to hit him. Jungkook and I nodded our heads, showing we understand.

We both got into Jungkook's car and we drove off to the place. We parked a few blocks away do no one really suspects anything. We parked behind an abandoned building. He got out the car and climbed up on roofs to scope around. Hopefully no one saw us. This part of the town is dead anyways. No wonder why this guy would do something here in broad daylight.

As Jungkook scopes around on the left side, and I was scoping on the right, I saw someone wisp through the ally way... I climbed down from the roof. I followed the guy that was also in a black outfit. He- he also had a mask on but his outfit had a symbol on it... ours (Mine and Jungkook's) didn't have symbols.. who is this guy??

"Hey! What's wrong? Did you see the target?" Jungkook said whispering.

"Uh... no, no. I thought I saw someone..."

"Come on, we still need to check around the perimeter."

Taehyung's POV

I got a call from boss that a guy was committing crime in broad daylight but good thing it was in a dead ally way.

I put on my outfit and raced over to where boss gave me the coordinates. I saw 2 people here.... are they assassins too? They had a good idea of using the roofs but I'll lay low..

I ran behind buildings, just so I don't interfere with them. I don't want them knowing another assassin was put on the same job. I was running behind buildings until I saw lots of people behind the buildings so I decided to switch to the front of buildings... I ran past a few buildings then switched back to the back of buildings. As I switched back, I felt someone following me... I decided to quickly climb up on top of a building and crouch. I looked down and saw the two assassins from before. The one that was following me looked like a girl and the other one was a guy.. hmmm. They have the same outfits and mask but no symbol... must be from another guild... but similar?

I was about to turn and continue on with my mission until I heard a familiar voice...

"Hey! What's..... wr-"

That's all I heard until my coms came on.

"Hey. Why are you stopping? Get going!"

"Right sorrryy boss."

I stayed and listened for a little longer....

"Come on, we still need to check around the perimeter."

Okay, now that sounds really familiar... but I can't put my finger on it. Oh well. I need to get going anyways.

Yuna's POV

Jungkook and I scoped around until we saw the guy! But.... he was getting dragged by a guy already... the- THE SAME GUY I SAW. I knew there was someone else! He had the same symbol on his suit!

"What do we do....?" Jungkook said not sure on what to do.

"I suggest we leave empty handed and tell boss what happened."

"Has this even happened before..?"

"No, no it hasn't..." I said while a little surprised.

The guy was about to turn around so I ran to the side and climbed on the roof, Jungkook did the same. I mouthed to Jungkook:

"We should go..."

He nodded his head in agreement. As we left the place. I was thinking to myself how the other assassin seems familiar... his slight body features makes me feel like I know him but I don't know where...

We got to the base and we told boss what happened. He said it was fine, as long as the target was dealt with.

After we finished talking, I left to my apartment. I called Taehyung and he picked up.

"Hey baby."

"Hey Tae. Whatcha doing?"

"Oh, just got home."

"Ooh from what?"

"Uh.. from shopping. I needed products to clean my car. What about you babe? What are you doing?"

"Oh, nothing much. I just got home too. From shopping because... you know, a girl likes to shop. Haha."

"Aw that's nice baby. What are you going to do today?"

"Umm I was thinking about spending the night with my boyfriend while watching a nice little movie while drinking some tea because my baby doesn't like coffee."

"Oh. He's a lucky guy then. I'm sure he'll be there in a bit."

"Yay. That's great. Oh and something I forgot to mention to you a long time ago... why did you sacrifice your taste buds for coffee just to meet me?"

"Well, I saw your beautiful self in the shop and since it was a coffee shop, I would risk anything of mine just to meet a new person. Plus.... I didn't know you guys had other beverages... XD"

"Awww haha. I love youu. I would risk anything for you too. Well hurry up and come over. I'll set up the things. While you rest baby."

*knock knock*
*phone disconnects*

Uhh what just happened? Is he already here?

I open the door to see Taehyung with a bright box smile and a few soft blankets and pillows.

"I'm already here :)"

"Awww.." I said as I felt flustered for this type of gesture that he pulled off.

He came in as he helped me set up the movie and he brewed some tea for us both. He bought snacks too so we got fat off of those and the tea and we cuddled while watching a funny romantic movie. That was a great night. But I still want to know who was that guy in that suit with the symbol from before...
