Yuna's POV
I woke up to see Taehyung not by my side. I was a little upset but he has his own life too. I got up and washed up and got ready for work. I had to see if that new employee, Namjoon, I think, knows what to do around the shop today.
When I went to the kitchen to cook me something to eat, I saw a note on the counter. It said:
Hey Yuna-ssi. Good morning, even though I didn't get to say it in person. I hope you find something healthy to eat before going to work. I hope work doesn't stress you out today. I love you. Hope today goes well. I'll call or text you tonight.
Kisses.
Love, Kim TaehyungAww he is too cute. I better hurry up and go before I'll be late for work.
I got in my car and raced to work. When I got to work, I changed the sign to open and went around to turn on lights. I set up the tables by refilling napkins and sugar packs and coffee straws and spoons. I swept a little until I heard the door bell ring.
"Good morning- oh, well, you're here early."
"Uh, yeah. I was scheduled for 9 am." Said the new trainee, Namjoon.
"Yeah you're right but it's 8:38 am." I said chuckling a little.
"Heh heh. Well, better early than late." He said nervously.
"Well, no customers are here right now but you can clean up around the cashier in case a costumer walks in and order."
"Yes ma'am."
A/N:Namjoon is older than Yuna in this; he's his age in here too.
I nodded my head and continued sweeping.
*few hours later*
Of course more costumers came in and we were a little busy but I got to watch Namjoon and see how he could handle being in here. He was nice and respected costumers and he did his job right, delivering costumer's orders to their tables and taking care of accidents he made. I admit, he had 3 accidents today already, but other than that, he's really well with others. He can speak with tourists or people outside of Korea. He's fluent in English and I'm glad he is. I am too of course but it's good to have another multi-language-speaking-person like that around here.
After a long day taking care of the shop, it was finally close up time but I can't leave just yet. I, of course, need to clean and prep for tomorrow. I swept trash off of the floor. I cleaned spilt coffee/beverages off tables and floors. Washed a few left over dishes. Make sure everything was good looking in here. I was tired so I had to take a break. I brewed myself a small cup of coffee and brought out my MacBook and I sat in front of the window, where you could see out of the shop clearly. The lights were mostly off and the only light I really had was the dim light from above the table and the street lamp outside. It was a warm night. I was checking up on Instagram to see what everyone was doing. I saw my co workers spending time with family. One of them even invited me to go to their small get together party but I denied kindly. Seemed like one of my friend from high school tried to talk to me again. We weren't really friends, we only knew each other for a few weeks. We only had 2 classes together. He looks more handsome now but I'm not sure if I want to see him again. Maybe some other time... his name is Kim Seokjin but I called him Jin for short.
As I was staring at the screen, until I saw someone running across my shop.. they were in a dark suit and something shined off of their suit.... I peaked out the window and I saw the guy that stopped. He... he was the same guy from yesterday! The same symbol and everything. His symbol was shiny this time. Being and assassin myself, I thought that was a dumb idea to make anything of your suit shine. You don't want to be seen right? So why make something shine? Designers these days... As I was watching him, seemed like he was hiding... I've never seen any assassin hide from anyone like that, like they're scared... he kind of peaked in to see if his enemy was still following him or just looking out for danger.. when he did that, the light also shined on his arm.. it- it was bleeding... should I help him? Should I bring him in.. would he accept my kindness to help him?
I stared a little too long because I guess he saw me through the window. I mean what can I say, it is a huge window but there was such little light. I was about to get up from my chair and back up and he was getting up and about to run but then he fell and collapsed on the cement. I ran out there and checked left to right to see if I saw anyone else besides us. Of course I looked up at roofs too because if the person was trying not to be found, they would hide up there. I saw no one. I dragged him inside the shop. I laid him on the couch that we had inside the shop. I went to go fetch the first aid kit and got cleaning alcohol.
After I got the kit, I rushed back to the person. He looked a little familiar up close but should I take off the mask and see who it really is?
No... I'm sure he wouldn't do the same. I took out cleaning towelettes and cleaned his wound. I put some neosporin on his wound and wrapped it with a band aid. I lightly kissed his wrapped wound... our guilds might be enemies but right now, I'm not Agent Y Kim, I'm Min Yuna, a coffee shop owner and a random witness.
It was 11:45 pm. I was still at the coffee shop making sure this guy was out of danger.. a few minutes passed of me thinking to myself, he suddenly woke up and I had already sat out a warm cup of water.
"Where.... where am I?" He said confusingly.
"Don't worry, you're safe." I said as I was focused on my computer and my face was hiding behind the screen.
"Who, who are you?"
"You don't need to worry. Just be glad I didn't peak under mask and I cared for you. You should really drink your warm water and get out of here before sunrise. It's only 11:50 but still, it's better to get out of here sooner." I said hiding my face on purpose with my computer screen.
"I- thank you. I.... um... yeah I should really get going."
As he said that, he sipped his cup of water and ran out. I saw him run out of the shop and then jump on the roof. Well, as long as he gets home and no one sees him. I've never been caught before but I'm sure it sucks to get caught.
When I cleaned up the shop, I headed home.
Taehyung's POV
Yuna was so cute. She tried to hide her face but I could tell it was her. By her beautiful and smooth voice.... and it's also common sense because she's the shop owner and only she can stay this late at her own shop. I hope she doesn't find out about this side of me.... or there's going to be trouble...
As I ran out the shop, I climbed on the roof and stayed there until I saw her leave the shop. I followed her quietly just so I know she's safe from that other assassin I was fighting earlier. He was from another guild, a very bad guild. They kill good and bad people but mostly innocent people. My mission was to go after one of their guild members, but I got attacked while at it. And this Agent's name is Agent S. K. Jens. I heard he's the best in his guild.
