Charlotte woke up in disgrace to see not her mother; but Chester Potts. Smiling. A hint of evil.
"Your time is up."
"What-what do you mean- you said I had until August to decide! And besides, who gave you the right to be in my bedroom anyways!" Charlotte threw her arms up in disgust.
"Well thanks to your darling mother, who cannot hardly contain her excitement- the wedding has been moved to next week."
"Next week?! What if I refuse to marry you?"
"Well, I have money. And with money comes great power. I will do whatever it takes to ensure you do not live past a day after your wedding. However, if you do decide to marry me, you will be taken care of well and moved into the Potts Estate; far greater than this junkyard of a house if I must say so myself."
Charlotte was fuming; raging; she tightened up her fists. "If you think blackmailing me and threatening to murder me will make me marry you; then you are as foolish as your face."
"Oh poor Charlotte, who are you going to turn to? You see, I have been graciously invited to stay here until the wedding. And there is nothing more I would like to do than spend time with my beautiful to-be wife."
