I stood up and stretched, Namjoon's jacket falling off of my sholders. I bent over to pick it up, handing it to him. "Well its getting late, so you better start heading home."
He cocked his head to the side. "Wait, where are you going to be? You're not heading home are you?"
I got up and dusted of my pants. "I really don't think that's an option right now; my dad is probably trashing the house... and I don't feel like getting hit in the face just because." I laughed.
Namjoon stood up and smiled at me, causing me to tense up.
"Why are you smiling at me like that? What did I do? Do I have something on my face?" I pointed at myself.
"No, you don't have anything on your face. It's just that... despite what you've been through, you can still laugh and show your beautiful smile to people."
My face had turned a bright shade of red, and my eyes went wide. "I will hit you, you know... I'm not afraid to!"
Namjoon laughed, "You're even more cute when you blush!"
"I'm serous, I'll punch you in your pretty boy face!"
I took Namjoon's jacket from him, zipped it up and pulled the hoodie over my head and pulled on the drawstrings. I started walking from the entrance where we came from. I stomped over to path we had taken, (obviously made my Namjoon) and walked away.
"Wait! Hyeon! Don't leave me!" Namjoon yelled.
I heard his footsteps running towards me and I was about to run... but I also heard other footsteps; heavy treaded footsteps... I stopped in place, my heart beat speeding up to a hundred miles.
"Hey, Hyeon? What's wrong? Are you okay?" Namjoon asked.
"Shh... someone's listening to us, watching us..." I whispered.
The footsteps got louder; then abruptly stopped. I had stopped breathing, listening for the footsteps. Then, the sound of running.
"Oh crap... we need to get out of here, fast!" I grabbed Namjoon's hand and forcefully pulled him up and ran out of the little hideout.
"Wait, what did you hear? What happend?"
We reached the park and I frantically looked around, "My dad sent someone to find me and listen to my conversations... and he's trying to find me."
I rested my hands on my knees and panted. They... whoever it was, got lost following us.
"So what are you going to do now? You can't stay here and you can't go home..." Namjoon mumbled.
"Well I have to find somewhere to hide out for the night, duh." I started walking on the direction of the school.
I had looked side to side, trying to find the person who had been stalking Namjoon and I. The sky had gone dim, which made it harder to spot people.
"Wait, where are you going? Where are you hiding?"
"Keep you voice down! They might still be around here!" I whisper-yelled.
I squinted, looking around for suspicious behavior. Luckily, the park was vacant. I sighed in relief.
"I'm going to be hiding at the school. There are ways in that only I know, so I'm not going to get caught. Don't worry about me."
"No, it won't be comfortable for you in there, come stay at my house for the night!" Namjoon protested.
"No can do. I have clothes hidden throughout the school and I don't have any at your house so yeah.. Also, I have a spare uniform in the girls washroom. Plus, wouldn't it be weird bringing a girl home at this time at night?" I smirked
He looked at me conflicted on what to say, but instead just shut his mouth.
I shoved my hands in my pockets and continued walking. "Y'know, you should really head home now, because someone might try to jump me."
He shook his head, "All the more reason to walk you to the school."
"Do what you want, I can't stop you." I said.
I continued to walk the path to school, while the moon light guided me. It had gotten colder. The wind howled.
"Well, here we are. This is where we part ways and you go home."
"Are you sure you can't just grab your uniform and just come to my house? It would be a lot comfortable there." Namjoon suggested.
"I've been able to sneak in, but never out. So it won't matter how uncomfortable it is, I'm still sleeping on it." I shrugged.
"...Then keep my jacket for the night, just to keep yourself warm and don't catch a cold or anything okay?"
"Okay mom." I playfully punched his sholder.
"Oh madam, you wound me..." He said holding his arm in the place I punched.
"You know, you might be the very first person that I enjoy talking to."
"Does that mean we're friends?"
"In your dreams pretty boy."
He sheepishly smiled, "I'm glad you're starting to enjoy my company then. You're a great person."
Whatever, go home and eat an apple or something.
"You know what, I'll do just that." He pumped his fist to his chest and I laughed.
We reached the school and I pushed him away.
"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow. Don't get yourself killed."
He waved and walked away. I crawled under the fence and made my way to the back of the school. Alright, maybe gettting use to having Namjoon around me won't be so bad. And hey; maybe I'll enjoy his company
