Aeri's POV
My heart was beating fast as I sped up running in the streets with a man beside me. I was holding his left hand as we ran together. However, it seemed like he struggled to run. Yeah- the man beside me was. . . struggling to keep up. And. . . I was helping him. We. . . were running away from something. No. From. . . people. I could hear an angry mob from the distance.
As we approached a corner of the street, a group of scary gangsters popped up out of nowhere. I backed up along with helping the man beside me back up. I was. . . protecting him?
The largest guy out of the gangster group stepped up from his people and came close to us. He pulled out a knife from his pocket. And the one thing I did was guard the man, not letting anybody touch him.
Then, the man raised his knife and forcefully stabbed me in the stomach.

I woke up breathing hard. I found myself to have slept on my desk in class.
"Gwaenchanha?" a voice from behind me asked. It was Somin.
I touched my face and felt my stomach for any wound. I was okay. It was all a dream!
I raised my head and looked around. There was nobody in class and the clock read 3:15. I turned to face Somin. "Did I sleep during the lesson?"
"Yeah, pretty much."
"Uggh." I turned back to facing forward and slammed my head on the desk like a thousand times.
"Hey hey! Caalm down. Everything will be alright," Somin said.
I blabbered out words before thinking it through. "No! He said that he only sees me as a little sister. That's not what I wanted to hear. And because of that, I slept during the lesson!"
"Mianhae, Aeri. It was because of me. I made you confess to him and now you're shaming yourself," Somin apologized, making me feel worse.
I raised my head, turned around to her again and said, "No, it wasn't your fault. To be honest, I wanted to do that myself. But now. . . I'm just gonna have to accept it. He doesn't like me. I have to accept the truth. I'll get over it don't worry." Somin frowned, looking very depressed. I assured her again, "Don't worry. Now let's get going. We're the only people left, that's scary."
I wore my backpack and grabbed her hands then left the room.
As we walked outside making our way home, I just began to realize Yoonji wasn't there with us. "Hey, where's Yoonji?"
Somin looked around, she seemed as surprised as me. "Yeah, where is she?"
"Hey guys!" we heard a voice from a far away distance. It was Yoonji's. We turned our heads and just as we did she broke in between us and had her arms wrapped around our necks. "Sup!"
"You look very happy," I said. I feel like I was being strangled at the moment with her strong arm around my neck.
"That's because I am," she said it like she was in heaven or something.
"Why?" Somin inquired.
"It's just- I don't know. . . It's too good of news to tell you guys now. I'll tell you guys tomorrow OR at least you guys will see why I'm so happy. For now, I gotta go. Bye!" she left us behind and started skipping ahead.
Somin and I paused from walking and looked at her as she skipped happily. "I wonder what that's all about," I said.
Somin looked at her with confusion too. "I don't know."
