Jigsaw jumped out of bed and swished his tail. Another day. He grabbed his blue coat and slid it on. He ran into his younger brother, Boxer, while he was heading out of his room. "Oh, hello Boxer. What's up?" Boxer shook his head.
"Mom wanted me to grab you. She made breakfast. Your favorite!" Boxer smiled. Jigsaw looked up.
"Eggs?" Jigsaw swiped his tongue around his jaws. "Yum!" He ran down the stairs, his little brother not far behind. "I'm here mom. You wanted me?" Jigsaw's mother, Amber, nodded.
"Yep! I made your favorite breakfast! Eggs with a glass of milk." Jigsaw didn't know what to say, But he knew what he was thinking.
"Thank you so much! But, why are you making me all this now?" Amber shook her head.
"Because, well, I wanted eggs." Jigsaw burst out laughing and fell on the floor.
"Okay, Mom." Amber shook her head and jumped up on the chair. Boxer did the same. Jigsaw purred, "Okay, Okay. I'm done." He jumped on top of the giant chair that was nearly 3 or 4 times higher than him. His older sister, Cider, was already at the table, almost finished with her breakfast. Cider shook her head and sighed.
"What took you so long? I was very tempted to eat your eggs! Mom wouldn't let me though." Amber laughed.
"Sorry honey, but that's your brothers food." Cider sighed once more.
"But I'm still hungry!" Cider whined. Amber shook her head.
"Sometimes, I think Boxer is more mature than you! You're 14 for heavens sake! Make some more yourself."
"Okay, geez." Cider snorted. "And obviously my brother that's 7 years younger than me isn't more mature than me!"Jigsaw finished his breakfast and shook his head.
"I'm just gonna... go outside." He jumped from the chair and ran outside. Jigsaw looked around and saw a mound of dirt. He tilted his head and bounded closer. "What's this?" He dragged a sign out.
The sign read: "Kittens for sale!"
"But kittens can't be for sale? That doesn't make sense. Unless... us cats were... were domesticated."
A/N: To clear things up, an apocalypse came and only cats survived. The radiation made them think like humans and all that. They walk on their hind legs and they only use all four when they run.
