What Steven saw was something entirely unfathomable. There were machines, empires, and gems... So many gems everywhere. Steven shook nervously. Lapis looked over at Steven and noticed how nervous he was. She smiled sympathetically and pat his head consolingly. Steven chuckled a little. A tall, beautiful gem slowly approached Lapis and Steven. They stood in a defensive position, Steven wielding his shield and Lapis manipulating the water surrounding her. But to their surprise, the lady smiled sweetly. A gentle, welcoming smile. "Hello! My name is Labradorite. It's a pleasure." She extended her arm out towards Lapis to shake her hand. Lapis raised and eyebrow, but took Labradorite's hand and shook it. "Um, nice to... Meet you too." Lapis reluctantly replied. Steven jumped in and interrupted before the new gem could say anything more. "Hi there, I'm Steven! I'm a human, from planet earth!" Lapis gave him a scolding look, afraid of how Labradorite would react to hearing that a "human" was on their home planet- a foreigner. "Oh, a human?!" She grinned. "My, that's just wonderful! I just love it when a new race comes to visit! So you're from earth, huh? That's fascinating, I've only been once in my 1,000 years of living!" She babbled on in shear excitement as Lapis and Steven laughed nervously. Lapis thought to herself. "A thousand years...? She's terribly young, she's surely to be viewed as a young child on this planet... I wonder if that's why she's so... Eccentric..." Lapis then tuned back in to what the girl was saying. "Anyways, let me know if you all need anything. Oh and, Steven?" Steven looked at Labradorite. "Yeah..?" To Steven and Lapis's dismay, she grinned maliciously. "Be careful... Most of our race do not take too kindly to humans.. Not after Pink's passing... So, stay on your guard, unless... You have a death wish, that is~."

Totally, unfaltering silence.

"Ahaha~!" Labradorite laughed maniacally before giddily skipping off.

"Hey, w-wait!" Lapis yelled to no avail, as the girl had already faded away into the darkness. Leaving Steven and Lapis with an unsettling feeling.
