"So, how would you feel about going to LA with my family for the first two weeks of break?" Harry asked, making me have to look away from the script I was reading for one of my classes.

"You want me to meet your mom?" I asked in disbelief, "We've only been dating for like a month, babe."

"You and I both know that we've basically been dating for two," he said, "and I mean, why not. I like you a lot and my mum's been begging me to bring you since she caught me facetiming you over thanksgiving break."

"If we do that, would you be willing to come back and spend New Year's with my family?" I asked. His face lit up instantly.

"You'd want me to meet your family too?" He asked.

"I mean I guess," I joked, "It'd be nice to have someone there so I don't have to put up with my family by myself."

"Gasp!" He exclaimed, "You're just using me?!"

"Damn it, Harry, you weren't supposed to find out this way," I played along. We broke out into a fit of laughter not too long after.

"Just do you know, I wouldn't mind being used by you," he smirked as he pulled my chair away from my desk and turned me to face him, "You can basically use me however you'd like."

"However I'd like?" I teased, to which he responded by biting his lip and nodding. I decided I was going to mess with him a little. I grabbed him by his collar and pulled his face close to mine and stopped when our lips were millimeters away from touching. His eyes were closed and I could tell he was getting ready for our lips to touch, but I quickly got up and pushed him into the chair where I'd been sitting. "Great, you can help me finish my psychology paper that's due next week," I smiled, "make it good, Styles."

"Anna," he whined, "that's not what I meant."

"Too bad," I giggled.

-Christmas break-

My parents were less than happy when I told them I had been dating Harry for a while and that I would be spending Christmas with his family, but they perked up as soon as I told them I'd be back for New Year's and that I was bringing him to meet them. I was happy spending time with Harry and I knew I'd regret it if I didn't go with him. Plus, I wanted to meet his mom, I needed to meet the woman who gave birth to someone as wonderful as Harry.

The flight over was uneventful. Well, as uneventful as traveling with Harry could be. As landing approached, I felt myself starting to get more and more nervous, and I think Harry noticed because he took my hand and gave it a squeeze every once in a while. Once we actually landed, he would mutter a quiet "it'll be okay" every once in a while.

After picking up our bags, we walked a little bit before I heard Harry's name being called out. We both turned and I saw the woman Harry had showed me in pictures from when he was little.

"Mum!" He said excitedly before walking over to her, with me trailing behind him. "This is Anna, my girlfriend," he said shyly after hugging her.

"It's so nice to meet you, Mrs. Twist," I smiled as I reached out to shake her hand, hoping I'd earned some points for knowing she'd remarried and was no longer a Styles.

"Oh, we don't do that here," she smiled as she pulled me into a hug, "And call me Anne, Mrs. Twist makes me sound too old." I let out a light laugh as I hugged her back. "Harry, take the rest of her bags, us girls have a lot of chatting to do," she said as she handed Harry my purse and my carry on. I playfully stuck my tongue out at Harry as I walked past him with his mom,

"So, Anna, tell me about yourself," she said, "I want to know more about the girl that stole my little Harry's heart." I blushed at her statement but still did my best to answer.

"Well, I'm a freshman at Columbia," i started, "My dad is involved in politics back in New York, I'm studying performing arts and minoring in business."

"Performing arts? So is Harry," she said excitedly, "Is that how you two met?"

"No," I smiled, "We're actually neighbors, and we started talking because my sorority and his fraternity are sibling organizations so we spent a lot of time together because of that."

"That's so sweet," she smiled, "Do you have any siblings?"

"Yeah, I have an older brother," I told her, "He's a senior studying political science at Harvard."

"Ah, following in your dad's footsteps," she smiled, "And what branch of performing arts are you going into."

"Acting," I smiled.

"Harry's into music," she told me.

"Once we graduate, we'll be taking Hollywood by storm together," I joked.

Our conversation went on while we drove back to her house, and I realized why Harry was such a nice dude once you got to know him. His mom was one of the sweetest people I'd ever met, which was a huge contrast from my family who'd we'd be meeting in just a few weeks. Once we arrived at their house, Harry and I went to the room his mom had set up for the two of us and started getting settled in.

"You and my mum seem to be getting along," he smiled.

"We sure are," I told him cheerfully, "I'm struggling to figure out how someone as cool as her managed to produce someone as dorky as you." He laughed and threw a pillow at me, which I didn't hesitate to throw right back.

"You're actually the worst, you know that?" he said in between giggles. I rolled my eyes at him before walking over and pulling him down into a kiss. "Mm, I take it back," he muttered into the kiss.

"We should change and get back out there," I smiled as I pulled away from him.

"Fine," he pouted.

The two weeks we spent there were pure heaven. His mom and step dad were some of the most fun I'd ever had. It felt like there was no pressure to try to be perfect around them, which I think Harry made me feel that way in the first place and a huge part of why I liked him. I felt like that part of the trip really solidified my feelings for him.
