I woke up incredibly early the next morning. Harry's body was almost completely on top of mine, making it hard to wiggle out of his grip. Once I did, I quickly showered and changed into a black pleather skirt, and a loose-fitting light brown sweater, and a pair of black Steve Madden booties. I then made my way to the kitchen and started making everyone breakfast. My brother and Lola were the first to come out of their room, followed by Harry, and finally my parents.

Now, I know I gave my parents a really hard time about stuff and about their schedules, but they were my parents after all and I loved them. They both smiled widely when they saw me and I couldn't help but run over and hug them. They both laughed as I pulled them into a threeway hug and they hugged back.

"I missed you guys," I smiled, "I made us all our favorite breakfast."

"We did too sweetie, thank you," my dad said, "And who is this?" he asked as we pulled away and he looked at Harry.

"This is the guy I told you both about," I told them, "He's my boyfriend, Harry."

"Nice to meet you, son," my dad said as he reached out to shake Harry's hand. Harry smiled back as he too reached out.

"Pleasure to meet you both," he said.

"Oh, he has an accent, how adorable," my mom gushed. I let out a laugh and handed my parents plates before they could embarrass me any further. "Anna, honey, do you have what you're wearing tomorrow night picked out yet?" she asked, "And does your very handsome date?"

"What's tomorrow?" Harry asked.

"Tomorrow is the New Year's Gala," I told him, "But not yet, momma, that's what we're doing today."

"Great, babe, give her the black card," she told my dad, who very willingly handed over the metal credit card. I smiled and thanked him.

"Thanks, dad," I said, "we'll head out when Harold finishes his food." We stood around and chatted for a little bit while they all ate, and when Harry finished, we grabbed our coats and we were on our way.

"So, why didn't you tell me we were going to a gala?" he asked, "I could've packed accordingly."

"It slipped my mind, honestly," I sighed, "I'm surprised my mom was as cool as she was about me not having a dress yet considering she's sort of a control freak about those things." He let out a light laugh and shook his head at me.

"We could just drive back to the school and I could get a blazer and some black jeans," he said.

"Mm, no," I told him, "that's not gonna fly. See, it's an actual gala and there's a very strict dress code. We need to look like a million bucks."

We split up as soon as we got to the little row of boutiques and stores. I gave him the black card, telling him to get the suit and meet me back at the car when he finished. I rushed to my go to gown store and luckily, the attendee was my usual girl and she knew exactly what I needed. I tried on a few dresses before finding the one that I liked and felt comfortable in. It didn't take me nearly as much as I thought it would, so I texted Harry asking where he was and then made my way over to him.

"Lookin' good Styles," I smirked as I walked in on the tailor helping Harry into a suit.

"How are you done already?" he asked, jumping of the pedestal he'd been standing on and walking to me, "Looking pretty is so hard."

"You're so whiny," I giggled, "I think this looks great on you though."

"I do look pretty sexy don't I?" he smiled as he looked at himself in the mirror. "It's so expensive though, I don't think I should."
